  • Patent number: 5716100
Abstract: A folding passenger seat assembly for a motor vehicle comprises a seat cushion and a backrest portion. The backrest portion includes a backrest frame having a first end and a second end each pivotally supported about a folding axis. A first latch selectively locks the first end of the backrest frame in the vertical use position and a second latch selectively locks the second end of the backrest frame in the vertical use position. A remote actuator simultaneously unlocks both the first and second latches so that the backrest frame can be pivoted between use and folded positions. The second latch includes a bell-shaped jam key which is pivoted on a pintle about a latch axis spaced parallel from the folding axis. An abutment seat is fixed relative to the folding axis for engaging the jam key when the backrest frame is locked in the vertical use position.

  • Patent number: 5700054
Abstract: A child restraint seat disposed in a cavity of an adult seat back for restraining a child in a seat. The child restraint seat comprises a child seat portion pivotal between a folded position recessed in the cavity and an unfolded use position against the adult seat portion. A child backrest portion is moveable between a stowed position in the cavity and an outwardly extending inclined position. A first hinge automatically pivots the lower end of the child backrest from the stowed position to the inclined position and a second hinge automatically extends the upper end of the child backrest forward of the cavity in response to the pivotal movement of the child seat portion from the folded position to the unfolded use position. A headrest member is coupled to the child seat portion by a pivot member for automatically pivoting the headrest from a closed position to an open position raised above and aligned with the adult and child backrest portions.

  • Patent number: 5524117
Abstract: A coincidence detecting circuit is connected to multiple output lines of the microprocessor, and for resetting a microprocessor in response to a nondetection of coincidence within a predetermined period. The time sequence of pulses on one of the lines is changed by lengthening the pulses so as to coincide with signals on other channels. The operating program of the microprocessor is altered, if necessary, so as to produce signals on plural channels having predetermined time relationships with each other.

  • Patent number: 4903280
Abstract: A circuit arrangement for serial data transmission between a plurality of subscriber stations via a data bus with transmitters that are high-impedance in the passive condition and low-impedance in the active condition is provided with a mutual control of the subscriber stations which occurs via the data bus without the assistance of additional control lines. This is achieved in that the leads of the data bus are each connected to a voltage source at at least one location via a resistor and in that at least one evaluation device for evaluating the voltages carried by the two leads is provided, the evaluation device outputting a busy signal given voltages of different magnitude at the leads of the data bus and outputting a free signal given identical voltages at the leads of the data bus. The circuit arrangement is particularly suitable for utilization in remote control devices.

  • Patent number: 4807249
Abstract: A circuit arrangement is provided for serial data transmission between a plurality of subscriber stations via a data bus, the circuit arrangement comprising data transmitters that are in a high-impedance state in the passive condition and in a low-impedance state in the active condition. In such a circuit arrangement, a mutual control of the subscriber stations occurs by way of the data bus without the assistance of additional control lines. This is achieved with the assistance of a recognition circuit having two data receivers in fail-safe circuitry connected in an antiparallel manner at their inputs and having their outputs connected to a logic element. The control arrangement is particularly suited for utilization in remote control devices.

  • Patent number: 4785465
Abstract: A circuit arrangement is provided for serial data transmission between a plurality of subscriber stations via a loaded data bus and having transmitters that are in a high-impedance state in the passive condition and in a low-impedance state in the active condition. In such a circuit arrangement, a mutual control of the subscriber stations occurs via the data bus per se without the assistance of additional control lines. This is achieved with the assistance of a recognition circuit which emits a free signal at its output given at least approximately identical voltages at the data bus and emits a busy signal given different voltages at the data bus. The control arrangement is particularly suitable for utilization in remote control stations.

  • Patent number: 4110962
Abstract: An apparatus having three spindles carrying overlapping friction discs disposed with their longitudinal axis forming in plan view the corners of an equilateral triangle is provided with a centrally disposed fourth spindle carrying a means for simultaneously and equally adjusting the positions of all three spindles with respect to the track of the thread to be false twisted.

  • Patent number: 4020710
Abstract: A friction disc for rotating a twisting tube of a false twisting device for crimping thread is provided with a peripheral surface which slings any oil on the surface therefrom. The peripheral surface of the disc has an annular groove therein which is substantially frusto-conically shaped in cross-section and intersects the surface at an angle to provide an edge from which the oil will be slung by centrifugal force as the disc rotates.
