  • Publication number: 20240084747
Abstract: Systems, methods and apparatus for controlling operation of dual fuel engines are disclosed that regulate the fuelling amounts provided by a first fuel and a second fuel during operation of the engine. The first fuel can be a liquid fuel and the second fuel can be a gaseous fuel. The fuelling amounts are controlled to improve operational outcomes of the duel fuel engine.

  • Patent number: 10605232
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a device for determining the position of defects or damage on rotor blades (4) of a wind turbine (1) in an installed state, comprising the steps: a. a localisation instrument (5) is guided along the rotor blade (4) and the defect or damage is detected; b. the localisation instrument (5) has a GPS module (6) by means of which the GPS data of the localisation instrument (5) is detected at the defect or damage; c. the position of the investigated wind turbine (1) is detected by means of the GPS module (6); d. using the position data of the wind turbine (1), the hub height (n) of the wind turbine (1) is retrieved from a database and the distance (d) of the defect or damage of the rotor blade (4) from the hub (34) is calculated in an evaluation unit (8) from the difference between the GPS data of the localisation instrument (5) and the hub height (n) of the wind turbine and in accordance with the rotor blade position.

  • Patent number: 7131931
Abstract: In a gearbox control system (8) for detecting systematic errors and long-term changes, the behavior of a real gearbox (1) is compared to the behavior of an ideal gearbox (7), which is implemented in the form of a gearbox model in the gearbox control system (8).

  • Patent number: 7021605
Abstract: A control valve (1) comprises a housing (2) manufactured by a pressure die casting process, whose housing edges of upper semicircular bore hole are located exactly vertically above housing edges of lower semicircular bore hole and for this reason, the mold slide that forms the control edges (21) no longer has any contact point with the housing (2) and, as a consequence, symmetrical control edges (21) arise.

  • Patent number: 6779418
Abstract: A method for determining characteristic parameter values within a transmission that includes, for example, hydraulically-operated shifting elements, hydro-dynamic brakes, and hydro-dynamic torque converters. Slip regulation is used to determine the actual slip at a transmission element, whose characteristic parameter values are to be determined, before engagement. This element to be adapted is activated by means of pressure application, and thus a specified slip is set that is clearly different from the actual slip at lower torques. The applied pressure or flow may be determined from the set slip, and occurrence of a set slip allows the occurring pressures to be determined.

  • Patent number: 6449550
Abstract: Within the scope of the method for motor reduction while closing the lock-up clutch for automatic transmission of a motor vehicle, the starting value of the motor reduction is brought up via an adjustable ramp within the time period elapsed while laying on the disks of the lock-up bridge clutch, the motor reduction being adjustable with reference to a characteristic field.
