    Abstract: A device, in particular a neutron generator, having a high voltage connection. A gap between a first and a second insulator of the said high voltage connection is filled with an insulating liquid, preferably oil. Said oil flows and preferably also serves for cooling parts at high voltage of the device, for example an ion source. As a result of this the dielectric strength of the device is considerably improved.
