  • Publication number: 20240095426
Abstract: Aspects of the subject technology relate to systems and methods for identifying the quality of cement bonding of an exterior surface of a wellbore casing to an Earth formation. Methods of the present disclosure may allow for bond indexes to be identified in real-time as a cementing operation is performed even when tools that perform the cementing operation generate acoustic noise that interfere with measurements used to evaluate cement bonding quality. These methods may include transmitting acoustic signals, receiving acoustic signals, filtering the received acoustic signals, identifying magnitude and attenuation values to associate with the received acoustic signals, and comparing trends in the magnitudes with the identified attenuation values. These methods may also include correcting attenuation values associated with measured data based on a set of correction rules such that bond indexes can be identified. Such correction rules may be associated with data generated by a computer model.

  • Patent number: 5490821
Abstract: A massage device for the soles of the feet is provided. The device includes a number of units releasably connected together to form a long track which allows people to walk thereon and have the soles of their feet massaged by pebble-like projections formed on each of the units. Each unit includes a rectangular, flat, hollow body defining a sealed interior space inflated by air. The flat body has an upper surface having a plurality of different-sized pebble-like projections distributed uniformly thereon. The hollow body is preferably made of a resilient and slightly inflatable material so that by being inflated, the interior pressure is adjusted to provide an adjustable rigidity of the body. With the resilience and the adjustable rigidity provided by the interior pressure, the pebble-like projections are allowed to deflect and deform when stepped on by people, to comply with the shape of the soles of the feet, so as to avoid damaging the soles.

  • Patent number: 5412879
Abstract: A hair dryer includes a handle and an air blower housing with an elongated barrel extending therefrom. The handle has an elongated cord support member extending from the lower end thereof and substantially parallel with the barrel to define a pair of opposite and separated arms to allow the cord to be wound thereon. The cord support member has a corrugated surface defined by a number of troughs and ridges alternating with each other to allow the windings of the electrical cord to be respectively located within the troughs for a more even or regular winding of the electrical cord between the support member and the barrel. A hang hook is formed on the remote end of the support member to allow the hair dryer to be hung on a fixed hanger.

  • Patent number: 5413551
Abstract: A spherical massage device includes a hollow spherical body of a size suitable to be held in hands, having a spherical outer surface on which a plurality of projections are uniformly distributed. The hollow spherical body defines an interior space inside which a vibration generator is disposed. The vibration generator is controlled by a switch accessible by a user.

  • Patent number: 5389063
Abstract: A colorful massaging ball structure having an upper and lower hemisphere is provided. A magnetic rod is provided within the center of the enclosure of the hemispheres to add to the therapeutic effects of the device. Along the surface of the hemisphere, a plurality of arch-shaped slide rails are provided having movable massaging element engaged thereon. The movable elements can be slidably moved along the slide rails. A plurality of protrusions on each movable element provides a stimulation of the vital points of the user's fingers.

  • Patent number: 5343800
Abstract: A seasoning can structure includes an open can body to receive therein the seasoning, a cover being releasably secured to the opening of the can body. A seasoning dispensing device is mounted on the cover to dispense the seasoning contained in the can. A seasoning block breaking device is provided, including an elongated rod extending from the bottom of the can into the can body with a number of sideward arms fixed thereon so that by reciprocally moving the rod relative to the can body, the arms hit and thus break the seasoning blocks formed by the seasoning particles bonding together. Biasing device is disposed on the bottom of the can body to help reciprocally moving the breaking device relative to the can body.
