    Abstract: The present invention discloses a displacer valve for a cryogenic refrigerator, which is mounted on one circular surface of a displacer cover by a bolt to open and close a hole formed in the surface of the displacer cover. The displacer valve includes a rotation preventing guide fastened to an eccentric portion of the displacer cover by the bolt to prevent the displacer valve from rotating around the bolt. Therefore, the displacer valve does not rotate around the bolt but is fixed in a proper position, so that its operational reliability can be ensured.

    Abstract: The present invention discloses a compressor including a hermetic container into/from which refrigerant is sucked and discharged, a compression unit provided in the hermetic container and compressing the refrigerant, a motor unit provided in the hermetic container to be connected to the compression unit and driving the compression unit, and one or more irregular reflection portions provided on an outer circumferential surface of the motor unit. The irregular reflection portion repeatedly reflects and dissipates noise and vibration in the compressor to improve the noise reduction effect. In addition, the irregular reflection portion increases the surface area of the motor unit to improve the radiation effect, which results in high efficiency of the entire compressor.

    Abstract: A compressor is provided. The compressor includes a motor that generates power to rotate a crank shaft. The motor includes a rotor rotating about a stator supported in a hermetic vessel by an elastic member. A roller is provided eccentric to the center of rotation of the crank shaft and rotates eccentrically to divide the compression chamber into two regions with a vane so as to allow working fluids to be drawn into, compressed discharged from the compression chamber. A compressor so configured minimizes fluidity and friction losses, thereby improving compression efficiency. The working fluids do not have influence upon/from the inside of are not influenced by an environment with the hermetic vessel, and vibration is minimized, thus enhancing compression efficiency and reducing associated noise.

    Abstract: A method for manufacturing a planar optical waveguide, includes the steps of coating, over a lower cladding layer, an optical waveguide layer including an inorganic-organic matrix uniformly doped with photosensitive photochemical monomers, selectively exposing the waveguide layer to a beam with a predetermined range of wavelengths so as to immobilize the doped photochemical monomers, and thermally treating the waveguide layer to remove unexposed monomers and cure the exposed optical waveguide layer. Requiring no etching processes, the method can reduce the number of processing steps and produce a planar optical waveguide with a low optical loss.

Thus, the structure of the device is simplified, thereby improving the productivity and saving the manufacturing cost. Also, since the exhaust valve and valve spring are strongly fixed, thereby efficiency of the compressor.
