Abstract: An apparatus for heating a space using waste heat from a biologically heated product, the apparatus including a storage tank for storing a quantity of the milk and a heat exchanger in thermal communication with the product carrying a thermally conductive fluid. The fluid absorbs heat from the milk and cools the milk as it flows through the heat exchanger. A first condenser in fluid communication with the heat exchanger and carries fluid heated by the milk therein. A fan forces air over the first condenser, heating the air and cooling the fluid in the first condenser. The fan forces the heated air into the space to be heated.A method for recovering waste heat from a biologically heated product is also disclosed.
