Abstract: A method of photographing a simulated activity includes a stable photographic platform that enables an individual to safely mount an item of equipment or a safety surface adjacent the item of equipment so that a photograph may be taken. The item of equipment may be positioned in concealing relation to a structure that supports the item of equipment or the safety surface. The posing individual or the clothing of the posing individual may also conceal the support structure. Alternatively, the support structure and the safety surface may be unconcealed but disguised as a natural element of a photographed scene, such as a rail in a skateboard park. The result is a photograph of an activity where the individual and the equipment appear to be precariously positioned or even suspended in the air with no apparent support. No part of the equipment or individual is cropped from the photograph.

Abstract: An electronic mail network, comprising a plurality of nodes or computer stations, permits an E-mail message originator to control down stream routing of the message. The system enables the sender of a message to specify which addresses should automatically be set when a recipient of the message replies to or forwards the message.

Abstract: A voice enunciation system and method provides a user with the capability to sound out text files. As the files are audibly played, if the user is not satisfied with the pronunciation of a particular word, the system provides the user with the means of replacing the word with his own particular pronunciation. The preferred pronunciation is also stored in an override dictionary so that any subsequent encounter with that particular word is pronounced correctly.

Abstract: A method and apparatus that enables modification of a document via telephone. One user is defined as a Driver and another user is defined as a Passenger. The Driver then determines the changes to be made to the document, and the changes are reflected in both versions of the document. Further, it is not necessary that both Driver and Passenger use the same application program.
