Publication number: 20070171903Abstract: A scheme for retrieving digital multimedia content from a network node. A message is provided to the network node by a client application executing on a digital multimedia device, wherein the message includes a multidimensional pointer to a depository of digital multimedia content associated with the network node as well as a timing parameter operable to indicate when the message is to take effect. The multidimensional pointer contains a relative time offset variable as well as a plurality of media identifier dimensions corresponding to a plurality of nested hierarchical levels into which the digital multimedia content is organized. Responsive to the message, content from a particular content source identified by the multidimensional pointer is streamed to the digital multimedia device at a time indicated responsive to the timing parameter.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 3, 2005Publication date: July 26, 2007Inventors: Thomas Zeng, Michael Foster, Michael Severa, Cheuk Chan, P. Publication number: 20030233019Abstract: A process is disclosed for the conversion of lower molecular weight hydrocarbons, such as methane, into higher molecular weight hydrocarbon products, such as hydrocarbons having between 4 and 29 carbons. The process includes forming hydrated electrons, such as by mixing the lower molecular weight hydrocarbons with water and contacting the mixture with an energy source to form hydrated electrons. The hydrated electrons react with the methane to form hydrogen and higher molecular weight hydrocarbon products. Also disclosed is a related process for converting higher molecular weight hydrocarbons to lower molecular weight hydrocarbons by forming a mixture of higher molecular weight hydrocarbons and water and contacting the mixture with an energy source to form hydrated electrons that react with the higher molecular weight hydrocarbons to form hydrogen and lower molecular weight hydrocarbon products.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 17, 2003Publication date: December 18, 2003Inventor: Steven P. Sherwood

Patent number: 6264624Abstract: A drainage catheter delivery system for positioning a drainage catheter or stent within a body cavity, such as a ureter. The delivery system includes a guide catheter, a push catheter, a drainage catheter (or stent) and a retention device. The guide catheter includes an outer diameter sized to slidably receive the push catheter and the drainage catheter. In this regard, the push catheter is placed over the guide catheter proximal the drainage catheter. The retention device selectively connects the push catheter to the drainage catheter. During use, the delivery system is pre-assembled as described above. The assembled delivery system is directed within a body cavity such that a distal end of the guide catheter is in close proximity to the desired drainage catheter position. The push catheter is axially slid along the guide catheter to move the drainage catheter away from a proximal end of the guide catheter.Type: GrantFiled: February 25, 1999Date of Patent: July 24, 2001Assignee: Boston Scientific CoporationInventors: Joseph P. Desmond, III, Leslie P. Sherwood, D. H. Perkins
