  • Publication number: 20230074570
Abstract: An industrial plant operator intervention system for use in an industrial plant includes a processing unit configured to monitor and analyze industrial plant operation data to detect an anomaly in the industrial plant operation data that warrants initiating an operator intervention, and in response to detecting the anomaly, automatically determine a user interface configuration of a user interface to be presented to a designated operator who is to perform the operator intervention. The user interface configuration is determined on the basis of technical context data, including industrial plant operation data associated with the anomaly, and on the basis of operator data pertaining to the designated operator, in such a manner that an anomaly-related and operator-specific user interface configuration is obtained.

  • Publication number: 20110276649
Abstract: Method, system and computer program to provide transparent scalability to Online Social Networks and better performance of its back-end databases, by an efficient partitioning of the underlying community structure and replicating of user profiles, ensuring that every user has a master or slave replica of all his neighbours on the same partition where he is located.

  • Patent number: 7921226
Abstract: A method and apparatus for providing user specific request redirection in a content delivery network includes parsing a page having embedded objects intended for redirection to at least one cache server, and transforming the embedded objects into relative uniform resource locators (URLs). A content-base token is inserted into an HTTP response header in response to a user request for the page. In an instance where the content-base token is not supported by the server and/or client devices, a base token is inserted into the page in response to a user request for the page. The content-base token and base token provide identification of a server or URL prefix where the embedded objects in the page are to be retrieved. The requested page is then sent to the user's browser. The browser constructs absolute URLs from the embedded URLs using either the received content-base token or base token, to retrieve embedded objects from the server.

  • Publication number: 20050090283
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products for providing wireless network access are disclosed. A wireless network access device comprises at least one local communication network interface and a plurality of wireless network interfaces. Requests for resources are received over the local communication network interface, processed by the processor, and distributed among two or more of the plurality of wireless network interfaces. Algorithms for determining a number of wireless network interfaces and for selecting particular wireless network interfaces are disclosed. Received resources may be stored in a cache memory, and may be used to respond to subsequent requests for the same resource.
