    Abstract: A reciprocating engaging mechanism is applied to an airtight device and includes a shaft, a rotary plate, a plurality of first engaging components and a linkage module. The rotary plate is rotatably disposed on the shaft. A plurality of bridging bars of the linkage module is connected between the rotary plate and the plurality of first engaging components in a respective manner, rotation of the rotary plate drives the plurality of bridging bars to rotate in the same direction, so as to switch the plurality of first engaging components between a locking mode and an unlocking mode.

Rotation of the rotary plate drives the linkage module to move the first engaging component into a locking mode or an unlocking mode. The liftable hinge mechanism and the reciprocating engaging mechanism are applied to an airtight device with a housing and a cover capable of being folded and unfolded.
