  • Patent number: 5326931
Abstract: An electrical interface distribution unit (10) and method for interconnecting signal cables (60, 62, 64) in a cable housing (24) within a wall defined by sheets of material (16-18) spaced apart by studs (20) to define an interior wall volume wherein large numbers of cables must fit in a small volume interiorly of the wall and be interconnected by modules (70, 80) for distribution of input and output signals in a building.

  • Patent number: 5162611
Abstract: The present invention provides two ribbon cable for conducting AC power and digital data signals respectively. A pliable insulating material holds together and electrically insulates the conductors on each ribbon cable. Conductive material, such as a conductive foil or conductive plastic serves to shield the electromagnetic interference generated by the transmitted AC power from the data conductors. The ribbon cables are folded in a protective outer jacket so that the conductive material is disposed substantially between the power conductors and the data conductors. This maximizes the electromagnetic interference shielding of the conductive material.

  • Patent number: 4752209
Abstract: A feed valve is disclosed for self-feeding of air or fuel gas to a pulse combustion burner in response to oscillating burner pressures. The feed valve includes a housing having a plurality of flapper valves arranged to provide additive one-way flows into the valve housing and a combined single input flow into the burner.

Inventors: Palamadi S. Vishwanath, James C. Griffiths
  • Patent number: 4708635
Abstract: The pulsed combustion gases of a primary burner having a low fuel input rate are combined with those of a main burner having a high fuel input rate to provide an integrated combustion process having a single pulse frequency and improved stability. The combustion gases of the primary burner are used to start the main burner by inducing the self-feeding of an air and fuel mixture into the main burner and igniting the mixture.
