  • Patent number: 11252323
Abstract: A visual tracker can be configured to obtain profile data associated with a pose of a living entity. In response to detecting a person, a camera can be selected from cameras. Additionally, in response to selecting the camera, the system can receive video data from the camera representative of a stance of the person. Consequently, the stance of the person can be estimated, resulting in an estimated stance.

  • Patent number: 10565764
Abstract: An augmented reality device computationally processes an image frame against a first augmented reality profile stored in a local database. The first augmented reality profile includes first annotation content associated with a first object and is obtained from a second user device. In response to an object computationally processed from the first image frame satisfying a predetermined threshold of similarity with the first object in the first augmented reality profile, the first annotation content is rendered, on a display of the first user device, relative to the first object according to rendering instructions for the first annotation content.

  • Publication number: 20190258325
Abstract: The technology described herein is generally directed towards a free hand, barehanded technique to provide user input to a device, such as to move a cursor on a user interface. Frames of images are captured, and each frame is processed to determine a fingertip position. The processing includes an image segmentation phase that provides a binary representation of the image, a disjoint union arborescence graph construction phase that operates on the binary representation of the image to construct set of arborescence graphs, and a fingertip location estimation phase that selects a graph from among the set of arborescence graphs and uses the root node to estimate the fingertip location. Also described is determining a hand orientation from the set of arborescence graphs.
