Publication number: 20170042138Abstract: A waterfowl motion decoy having a hollow body shaped in the form of a waterfowl and at least one wing member shaped in the form of a waterfowl wing is provided. The decoy comprises a gear train and a swivel joint. The gear train is coupled to a drive shaft driven by a force. The swivel joint includes a wing adapter configured to be couple to a wing member. The swivel joint is coupled to the body of the decoy and the gear train so that, when the gear train is driven by the force, the swivel joint pivots the wing adapter about a pivot axis and rotate the wing adapter about a rotation axis. The pivot axis and the rotation axis are not parallel to each other.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 12, 2016Publication date: February 16, 2017Inventors: Stephen Oshgan, Paresh Shroff

Patent number: 9530334Abstract: A physically-discrete sign component comprises an internally-electrically-illuminated alphabetic character having a front-facing profile and at least one connecting bar disposed at least substantially horizontally with respect to the front-facing profile of the alphabetic character and at least partially within the front-facing profile of that alphabetic character. By one approach the physically-discrete sign component includes two of the connecting bars. If desired, these two connecting bars are disposed at least substantially parallel to one another. By one approach, a first one of the connecting bars extends partially, but not wholly, above an upper periphery of the aforementioned front-facing profile while the second connecting bar extends partially, but not wholly, below a lower periphery of the front-facing profile. The connecting bars can include a connecting-bar interface configured to physically and electrically interconnect to an adjacent sign component.Type: GrantFiled: May 22, 2015Date of Patent: December 27, 2016Assignee: iLight Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Sean Edward Callahan, James Cuppini, Mark Joseph Cleaver, Timothy Edward Canzano, Edward Wayted Chen, Elizabeth Marie Randgaard, Chad Glenn Kirschner, Stephen Michael Oshgan, Paresh Shroff, Joseph Z. Patent number: 9104373Abstract: A computer tablet storage system. The system may have one or many main docks and one or many tablet holders. A computer tablet is retained within each tablet holder, and the tablet holder is insertable into and removable from an associated main dock. While inside the main dock, the computer tablet is protected against damage and unauthorized use. The main dock includes a door aperture and a tablet tray assembly movable toward and away from the bay door aperture and within the dock housing. The tablet holder (with tablet therein) is releasably engageable with the tray assembly. In the system, the tablet tray assembly is movable between a forward position in which a tablet is extended through the bay door for use, and a tray back position in which the tablet is retracted completely within the dock housing interior. A master control may regulate operation of the system.Type: GrantFiled: October 16, 2013Date of Patent: August 11, 2015Assignee: NOVA SOLUTIONS, INC.Inventors: John Lechman, Stephen M Oshgan, Paresh Shroff, Jason R Gebhardt, Patrick J McVey, Cornelio M Varilla
