  • Patent number: 11365067
Abstract: The invention relates to a transfer device for a hollow article comprising a conveyor wheel, transfer arms mounted moveably on the conveyor wheel, and at least one static cam. The at least one static cam comprising at least one cam path that cooperates with cam followers carried by the transfer arms to control the position thereof. The wheel carries at least one cleaning tool for a related cam path, and the cleaning tool is mounted movably and pressed against the cam path with sufficient force to enable the automatic cleaning of the cam path as the conveyor wheel rotates.

  • Patent number: 8640860
Abstract: Device (1) for gripping an object such as a blow-molding container preform (3), comprising: a guiding body (12); a stop body (13), mounted so as to move axially relative to the guiding body (12) along an axis (4) of the device, intended to be aligned with the object (3) to be gripped; a mandrel support (7), equipped with a gripping mandrel (15), able to move axially relative to the guiding body (12) and having a plunge-in travel (8) going from a set-back position to a plunged-in position in which the mandrel (15) is capable of gripping the object (3). The stop body (13) has, together with the mandrel support (7), a system of support stops (18, 19) arranged so that the mandrel support (7) drives the stop body (13) axially onto a terminal portion of the plunge-in travel (8). The device (1) includes a return means (34, 36) mounted between the guiding body (13) and the stop body, for the purpose of driving the stop body along an axial set-back direction opposite direction of plunge-in travel.

  • Publication number: 20130112663
Abstract: The invention relates to an electric arc welding method for welding at least one metal part including an aluminum based surface coating, using a shielding gas. According to the invention, the metal of the aforementioned metal part is melted by the electric arc alone without the use of any laser beam. The invention is characterized in that the shielding gas comprises a mixture of argon and/or helium, nitrogen, and an oxidizing compound selected from oxygen and carbon dioxide.

  • Publication number: 20060289394
Abstract: The invention relates to a arc welding process employing a TIG torch provided with a non-consumable electrode and a consumable filler wire, the end of said consumable wire being progressively melted by an electric arc generated between the non-consumable electrode and at least one workpiece to be welded so as to transfer molten metal from the wire to said workpiece and thus obtain a welded joint. The consumable wire is fed in at an angle of less than 50° to the axis of the electrode. Metal is transferred to the welded joint via a liquid bridge so that there is permanent contact between the puddle of molten metal forming the welded joint and the melted end of the filled wire.
