  • Patent number: 11286130
Abstract: A device (110) for sampling sheet elements (20) in a sorting unit (100) comprises: transport means (111, 112) defining a plane (P0) and able to move (A) a sheet element (20) longitudinally upstream to downstream, an axis (R1) situated at the level of the transport means (111, 112) and extending transversely, a diversion part (113) rotatable about the axis (R1) and having at least one end (114) so that during the rotation of the diversion part (113) through a first angular sector (S1) the horizontal projection of the end (114) remains below the plane (P0) and during the rotation through a second angular sector (S2) complementary to the first angular sector the horizontal projection of the end (114) moves above the plane (P0) so as to divert a sheet element (20) in a direction different from the plane (P0) and thus to sample the sheet element (20).

  • Patent number: 11198579
Abstract: A switching device (130) for transferring and ejecting a plate element (20) in a sorting unit (100), comprises: transport means (132), capable of transporting (A) the plate element (20) from upstream to downstream; a pivot (134), positioned in an upstream portion of the transport means (132), and allowing the transport means (132) to tilt relative to a horizontal transverse axis (R2); and raising means (135), secured in a downstream portion of the transport means (132), for tilting the downstream portion of the transport means (132) between a high first position and a low second position, and vice versa, so as to switch the plate element (20), respectively upward and downward.

  • Patent number: 10046573
Abstract: A suction box for a system for transporting flat media (4) includes at least one endless belt (6), formed with a plurality of through-holes, used in a media printing machine (1) equipped with at least one printing unit (2). The suction box includes a suction device (23) to generate a vacuum, a suction compartment (16), divided into at least two distinct chambers (26, 27, 28), including a first suction chamber (28) of variable volume, in communication with the suction device (23) so as to apply the vacuum through the holes in the belt (6) to the media being transported by the belt (6), and a second chamber (26, 27) at ambient pressure. The first and second chambers (28, 26, 27) are separated from one another by a mobile partition (31, 33). The suction compartment (16) has an open upper face equipped with a holding arrangement (14, 43, 44, 46, 47, 48) allowing movement of the belt (6).

Abstract: A suction box, intended for a system for transporting flat media (4) includes at least one endless belt (6), formed with a plurality of through-holes, in a media-printing machine (1), equipped with at least one printing unit (2). The suction box has a face (16) past which the belt (6) passes. A suction device (17) generates a vacuum in the suction box. The face (16) of the suction box is formed with at least one zone at a first suction pressure (22, 23, 24), which is in communication with the suction device (17), so as to apply the vacuum through the holes in the belt (6) to the media being transported by the belt (6), and the face of the suction box has at least one zone at a second pressure (26, 27). The zone at a second pressure is situated in the region of the printing unit (2). The magnitude of the second pressure is greater than the magnitude of the first pressure.
