  • Publication number: 20030236179
Abstract: Surface treating compositions and methods for using the same to treat a target surface are provided. The surface treating composition comprises a hydrophobic polymer, and is capable of delivering one or more of the following benefits: (1) the treated/rinsed surface exhibits a slip-stick transition (SST), which signals to the consumer that the surface treatment, specifically the rinse operation, is complete; (2) the surface treated with the present composition exhibits a shorter slip-stick transition time (tSST) than the tSST exhibited by a comparable surface treated with a composition without the hydrophobic polymer; (3) enhanced dissolution in an aqueous medium, such as water; and (4) the present composition is effective in removing grease from a soiled surface.

  • Publication number: 20030162684
Abstract: A process of cleaning dishware with a dishwashing wipe is disclosed. The process involves contacting the dishwashing wipe and/or the dishware with water and subsequently contacting the dishware with the dishwashing wipe. The dishwashing wipe comprises a nonwoven or paper cleaning substrate and a comparatively more abrasive, scrubbing substrate comprising a web of fibers.

  • Publication number: 20030121530
Abstract: A disposable dish care and hard surface cleaning wipe is disclosed. In one embodiment, the wipe is comprised of a water insoluble substrate that includes a partially hydrophobic nonwoven first layer, and a low density nonwoven second layer that is adjacent to the said first layer and has melded onto the side facing away from the said first layer an abrasive coating of thermoplastic material nubs or hooks, and a cleaning paste containing a surfactant.
