  • Publication number: 20240155307
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide a method of coordinating beacon signal scanning of reader devices in a tracking system. For instance, first information may be received from a first reader device of the tracking system, and second information may be received from a second reader device of the tracking system. Based on the first information or the second information that one of the first reader device or the second reader device has moved may be determined. In response to the determination that the first reader device or the second reader device has moved, a first coordinated duty cycle for the first reader device and a second coordinated duty cycle for the second reader device may be determined. The first coordinated duty cycle may be provided to the first reader device, and the second coordinated duty cycle may be provided to the second reader device.

  • Patent number: 11391903
Abstract: It is disclosed a method for coupling an optical fiber to a fiber optic cable, the fiber optic cable comprising a sheath surrounding an optical core comprising a buffer tube, the optical fiber being loosely contained in the buffer tube. The method comprises: cutting the sheath for a predetermined length thereof and exposing a corresponding portion of the optical core extending outward beyond a butt of the cut sheath; cutting the buffer tube of the exposed optical core and exposing a portion of the optical fiber; using a blocking tube to at least partially surround a section of the exposed portion of the optical fiber; and injecting a sealant into the blocking tube to lock the optical fiber within the blocking tube and couple the optical fiber to the fiber optic cable.

  • Patent number: 5845374
Abstract: The invention is a strap for enhancing one's grip on a golf club. To use the strap one places on a golf glove and grips the club. Then one takes the strap which is a piece of material approximately 17 inches long with loop material of hook and loop fabric on the bottom and hook material of hook and loop fabric on the top and virtually "sandwiches" the end of the strap in to the hook and loop material of the glove, giving a solid attachment between the two. Then one begins wrapping the strap around the hand almost perpendicular to the arm and then continues wrapping upward over the little and ring finger and attaches the hook material on the top of the strap to the loop material on the bottom of the strap. This wrapping around the hand enhances one's grip on the club.
