  • Publication number: 20240102305
Abstract: Power supplies for pool and spa equipment are disclosed. In one embodiment, the power supply includes a buoyant housing, a peripheral float, at least one solar cell positioned on the buoyant housing for collecting sunlight and converting same to electrical energy, and a power cable for interconnecting the power supply and pool/spa equipment. In other embodiments, first and second inductive power couplings are provided for powering pool and spa equipment. The power couplings can also be installed using existing plumbing features of the pool or spa.

  • Publication number: 20230272209
Abstract: Disclosed herein are curable compositions comprising an epoxide-functional polymer, a curing agent capable of reacting with the epoxide-functional polymer that is activatable by an external energy source, and a fluoropolymer that is substantially free of a reactive functional group. The epoxide-functional polymer may be a solid epoxide-functional polyurethane comprising a di-isocyanate. Also disclosed are articles comprising one of the compositions in an at least partially cured state positioned between first and second substrates. Also disclosed are methods of forming an adhesive on a substrate.

  • Publication number: 20180160985
Abstract: In vivo or in vitro sensors in combination with an electronic monitor enable the recognition, quantitation, and tracking of metabolic oscillations of living cells immobilized on or in close proximity to an analyte sensor providing methods, systems, and devices to monitor, probe, diagnose or treat abnormal metabolic states. The patterns or fingerprints of metabolic oscillations yield information about analyte concentration and the status of cellular metabolism. The analysis provides early recognition of abnormal metabolic states and provides treatment options that can avoid complications from metabolic disorders such as diabetes.
