  • Patent number: 11266059
Abstract: Provided is a seed treatment method, using a composition that may be obtained extemporaneously by mixing at least one powder substance and an aqueous medium. The seed treatment method may include producing the mixture in an automatic and cyclic manner, in at least one first vessel, by introducing into same first at least a portion of the aqueous medium and next the powder substance, the latter being sucked into the aqueous medium in the vessel by a vacuum created in the vessel, at least partially draining the content of the vessel, by at least one blast of compressed gas in the vessel, to a seed treatment device where the mixture may be brought into contact with the seeds.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 22, 2016
Date of Patent: March 8, 2022
    Assignee: RHODIA OPERATIONS
Inventors: Chenglu David, Patrick Ferlin, Carole Lechartier, Patrick Phelippeau
  • Publication number: 20180352720
Abstract: A seed treatment method, using a composition obtained extemporaneously by mixing at least one powder substance and an aqueous medium, comprising the steps consisting of: producing the mixture in an automatic and cyclic manner, in at least one first vessel (10; 10?), by introducing into same first at least a portion of the aqueous medium and next the powder substance, the latter being sucked into the aqueous medium in the vessel by means of a vacuum created in the vessel, at least partially draining the content of the vessel, by means of at least one blast of compressed gas in the vessel, to a seed treatment device where the mixture is brought into contact with the seeds.

  • Patent number: 9458273
Abstract: The present invention concerns a method for preparing a polymer comprising a step of radical polymerization of monomers comprising at least monomers (M1) chosen from acrylic acid, one of the salts of same, or the mixture thereof, in which said radical polymerization step is carried out: continuously; at a pH which remains between 3 and 5 during the polymerization step; in the presence of a metabisulfite/persulfate redox pair, for example the sodium metabisulfite/sodium persulfate pair, as a radical initiator, with a metabisulfite/persulfate molar ratio of between 1 and 3.5 and an initiator/monomer molar percentage of between 5% and 18%.
    Type: Grant

Abstract: The present invention concerns a method for preparing a polymer comprising a step of radical polymerisation of monomers comprising at least monomers (M1) chosen from acrylic acid, one of the salts of same, or the mixture thereof, in which said radical polymerisation step is carried out: continuously; at a pH which remains between 3 and 5 during the polymerization step; in the presence of a metabisulfite/persulfate redox pair, for example the sodium metabisulfite/sodium persulfate pair, as a radical initiator, with a metabisulfite/persulfate molar ratio of between 1 and 3.5 and an initiator/monomer molar percentage of between 5% and 18%.

  • Publication number: 20100055265
Abstract: The invention concerns compounds, for use as liquid support and as anticaking agent, and, simultaneously, as nutrient additive in particular for animals, including of precipitated silica and phosphate selected among phosphates of elements of groups Ia or IIa of the periodic table of the elements and rare-earth phosphates, the compounds being in the form of substantially spherical pellets.

  • Publication number: 20060147546
Abstract: The invention concerns compounds, for use as liquid support and as anticaking agent, and, simultaneously, as nutrient additive in particular for animals, consisting of precipitated silica and phosphate selected among phosphates of elements of groups Ia or IIa of the periodic table of the elements and rare-earth phosphates, said compounds being in the form of substantially spherical pellets.

  • Patent number: 5994260
Abstract: A cerium oxide with pores having a uniform lamellar structure. The pores may be at least partially arranged in substantially parallel directions and may also extend throughout the grain. The method for preparing said cerium oxide comprises heat treating a compound that essentially consists of cerium carbonate octahydrate. The atmosphere in which the treatment is performed includes an air/steam or oxygen/steam mixture with a steam volume fraction of at least 40%. Said cerium oxide is particularly useful as a catalyst, especially in motor vehicle post-combustion catalysis.
