Abstract: Systems, methods, and articles of manufacture for electronic gaming are disclosed. In a first aspect, the method includes generating a plurality of reel strips, where each reel strip includes a column of symbol display positions, and where each symbol display position is adjacent to at least one other symbol display position. The method further includes selecting a first plurality of symbol display positions, displaying a symbol in each of the selected first plurality of symbol display positions, evaluating each of the selected first plurality of symbol display positions, merging, based upon the evaluating, at least two adjacent symbol display positions of the selected first plurality of symbol display positions, generating a game outcome based upon the merging, and generating a game award based upon the game outcome.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a gaming system which comprises a symbol selector for selecting a plurality of symbols for display at display positions of a display area. The gaming system further comprises a display position selector for selecting at least one display position of the display area. The gaming system also comprises an award controller for controlling an award for a winning combination of displayed symbols. The award controller is arranged such that an award that is allocated is different if the at least one display position that is selected is included in the positions at which the winning combination of symbols is displayed.

Abstract: A gaming system is disclosed which comprises a symbol selector arranged to select a plurality of symbols from a set of symbols for display at a plurality of display positions in a game display array to define game winning or losing symbol arrangements, and a symbol position modifier arranged to modify the display position of at least one symbol so that the at least one symbol rotates around at least one symbol in the array to define at least one different winning or losing symbol arrangement. The gaming system also comprises an outcome generator arranged to determine a game outcome based on the displayed symbol arrangements and to provide a player reward when the displayed symbols correspond to a winning outcome. A corresponding method of gaming is also disclosed.

Abstract: The present invention is a method for separating gluten from wheat flour to produce a protein isolate that is at least 90% protein. The method includes at least one emulsification step where the starch within gluten masses is exposed. Masses composed of mostly gluten and some starch from a typical agglomeration tank and screen rinse process are processed through at least one emulsifying step where the masses are chopped and then drawn through a perforated plate to produce relatively small gluten masses. The relatively small gluten masses from the at least one emulsifying step are screen rinsed to remove much of the remaining starch thus producing a protein isolate. The resulting protein isolate gluten product is then dried and processed using conventional methods known in the art.
