Publication number: 20240124958Abstract: Nickel-ruthenium-based ternary or greater alloys, products, and methods of making and using the same include nickel at about 48 to about 71 weight % (“wt %”) of the alloy, ruthenium at about 17 to about 45 wt % of the alloy, and at least one ternary or higher addition at greater than zero to about 20 wt % of the Ni—Ru alloy. The ternary or higher addition may include gold, cobalt, chromium, copper, iridium, molybdenum, niobium, palladium, platinum, rhenium, rhodium, tantalum, vanadium, tungsten, or any combination thereof. The Ni—Ru alloy may be age-hardenable, and may exhibit a hardness greater than 500 hardness Knoop. In an embodiment, the Ni—Ru ternary or higher alloy may be used in electronic test probe applications.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 2, 2023Publication date: April 18, 2024Inventors: Wade A. Patent number: 9152765Abstract: The present specification discloses systems and methods for patient monitoring using a multitude of display regions, at least two of which have the capability to simultaneously display real time patient waveforms and vital statistics as well as provide display for local and remote software applications. In one example, a primary display shows real time patient waveforms and vital statistics while a customizable secondary display shows trends, cumulative data, laboratory and radiology reports, protocols, and similar clinical information. Additionally, the secondary display can launch local and remote applications such as entertainment software, Internet and email programs, patient education software, and video conferencing applications. The dual display allows caregivers to simultaneously view real time patient vitals and aggregated data or therapy protocols, thereby increasing hospital personnel efficiency and improving treatment, while not compromising the display of critical alarms or other data.Type: GrantFiled: January 27, 2014Date of Patent: October 6, 2015Assignee: Spacelabs Healthcare LLCInventors: Jeffrey Jay Gilham, Patrick Jensen, Michael Brendel, Katherine Stankus

Publication number: 20130010782Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes detecting a presence of a first endpoint on a port, and determining when the first endpoint is of a first type after detecting the presence of the first endpoint on the port. The port is associated with a switch that is part of a network and has a fixed address. The switch is arranged to support the first type. The method also includes mapping the first endpoint to the fixed address when it is determined that the endpoint is of the first type, wherein mapping the endpoint to the fixed address includes identifying the first endpoint by the fixed address within the network.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 7, 2011Publication date: January 10, 2013Applicant: CISCO TECHNOLOGY, INC.Inventor: Patrick Jensen

Publication number: 20080029601Abstract: The present disclosure provides a medication dispenser having a refrigerated compartment and a plurality of access doors that provide access to a limited portion of the refrigerated compartment. A plurality of turntables are rotatably disposed within the refrigerated compartment. The turntables receive at least one medication in a predetermined location, and each turntable aligns with an access door. The dispenser further includes a computer system that receives input selecting a first medication to be dispensed and outputs a first signal in response to the input. A controller is operably coupled to the refrigerated compartment and receives the first signal from the computer system. The controller outputs a second signal to rotate a turntable such that the first medication is positioned adjacent an access door, and the controller outputs a third signal to unlock the adjacent access door.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 7, 2007Publication date: February 7, 2008Applicant: TALYST INC.Inventors: Darcy Clarke, James Torina, Patrick Jensen
