  • Publication number: 20240094657
Abstract: A toner container according to one example embodiment includes a pivotable handle. The handle includes a front segment extending along a front of a body of the toner container when the handle is in a first position for contacting a corresponding pry surface in an image forming device when the handle moves from the first position to a second position. The handle includes a rear segment extending along a rear of the body when the handle is in the first position permitting a user to actuate the rear segment to move the handle from the first position to the second position. The handle includes a first side segment extending along the first side of the body and a second side segment extending along the second side of the body. The first and second side segments connect the front segment and the rear segment.

  • Publication number: 20190047075
Abstract: Disclosed are welds formed from improved resistance spot welding, as well as methods of improved resistance spot welding. Resistance spot welding includes positioning a magnet carrier having a plurality of electromagnets on at least one electrode of two electrodes. The method includes positioning a first metal sheet and a second metal sheet between the two electrodes where at least one of the first metal sheet or the second metal sheet includes an aluminum alloy. The method includes positioning the forming a weld nugget by applying a magnetic field from the plurality of electromagnets through the weld while applying a current through the electrodes to stir a portion of the first metal sheet and the second metal sheet forming a weld nugget and adjusting the magnetic field to control at least one characteristic of the weld nugget. Forming the weld nugget joins the first metal sheet with the second metal sheet.

  • Patent number: 9854371
Abstract: Method and apparatus for measuring a Head-Related Transfer Function (HRTF) may include determining position and orientation of an object relative to an audio signal generating device having a first known position and orientation, based on tracking information indicating position and orientation of the object. Movement data indicating direction of movement to position the object at a target position and orientation in relation to a predetermined position and orientation of the audio signal generating device may be generated, according to the relative position and orientation of the object. When the object is determined to be at the target position and orientation, the HRTF may be determined based on detection at the object of an audio signal from the audio signal generating device at the first known position and orientation while the object is at the target position and orientation.

  • Patent number: 7792787
Abstract: A system and method of operation for a distributed media network and meta data server provides a low cost, efficient, reliable and versatile alternative to traditional media network systems. Multiple media data file servers are designated as primary or alternate data file servers for different media data media files. Related or linked media data files may be distributed throughout a media network which results in lower peak bandwidth usage at each media data file server. Each server in the distributed media network responds more quickly and efficiently due to its limited functionality and scope of media data files that it must server. Media data file servers transfer low bandwidth meta data to client devices allowing a significant increase in the number of clients which can simultaneously log in to a dedicated network server.

  • Patent number: 6307941
Abstract: A system and method for providing improved virtual sound images. One or more spatial cues of an audio signal may be modulated within a described range to increase the clarity and perceived localization of a virtual sound image. Interaural time delay, interaural intensity difference and/or spectra may be varied at below the “just noticeable level” to cause the virtual source location to move slightly relative to the listener's head. Such variation assists the listener's auditory system in filtering out ambiguous spatial cue information from the audio signal. The resulting virtual sound image has a larger sweet spot and is less sensitive to head movement.
