Publication number: 20240165550Abstract: A filter system can include a replaceable filter cartridge having a spinner element structured to swirl a mixed flow of compressible fluid and oil, as well as an end cap used to enclose an open interior of a filter media of the filter cartridge. The filter cartridge can be configured to interface with and be supported by a mesh holder. A housing can be attached over the filter cartridge to enclose the system and create a flow path for a mixed flow of compressible fluid and oil. The replaceable filter cartridge can be constructed of materials suitable for disposal in a waste incineration process. The mesh holder can be inserted on a combo-block and secured in place by a compression fitting. A stand pipe can extend into the interior of the filter media and be coupled with a central passage of the mesh holder.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 30, 2023Publication date: May 23, 2024Inventors: Michael J. Patent number: 11829984Abstract: A point of sale application may initially process a transaction between a customer and a merchant. While the point of sale application processes the transaction, an add-on application may monitor a current state of a user interface of the point of sale application. Upon recognizing a triggering event associated with the current state of the user interface, the add-on application may take over the processing of the transaction from the point of sale application. Upon completion of the processing of the transaction, the add-on application may return a result of the transaction to the point of sale application by emulating user actions on the user interface of the point of sale application.Type: GrantFiled: September 12, 2022Date of Patent: November 28, 2023Assignee: SUMUP, INC.Inventors: Matthew David Doka, Victor Shaun Ho, Patrick Lucas, Michael Hsu, Sarah Calvillo, Joshua Christopher Wilson, Andre Prudhomme

Publication number: 20190129992Abstract: Various embodiments provide a data stream processing method. The method may include receiving by at least one first processor a data stream comprising first data that includes transactions to be executed on a database, receiving by at least one second processor from the at least one first processor information regarding data access to the database and second data indicative of a time-based order of the transactions, the information extracted from the first data and the second data, receiving by at least one third processor from the at least one first processor the first data, and processing the transactions by the at least one third processor, wherein the at least one second processor provides data access to the database to the at least one third processor based on the time-based order determined from the second data.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 26, 2017Publication date: May 2, 2019Inventors: Stephan Ewen, Aljoscha Krettek, Stefan Richter, Patrick Lucas

Publication number: 20170328178Abstract: Disclosed is a method for identifying opportunities for improvement in drilling and completions operations. At least one processor receives historical well data related to drilling and completions activities received from well monitoring sensors. The activities can include tripping, running casing, running bottom hole assembly, running riser, drilling connection operations, running screens, and running tubing. From the historical data, relative percentages of time spent on the activities are determined. Based on the relative time spent on each of the activities, a first priority activity is selected for improvement. A performance target for the first priority activity representing a value that can be calculated using well data received from the well monitoring sensors is determined. Real-time data is received from the well monitoring sensors. A current performance value using the real-time data is calculated and reviewed periodically to identify opportunities for improvement.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 11, 2016Publication date: November 16, 2017Inventors: Benjamin Patrick Lucas, Warren E. Bryant, Christopher Thomas Lannen, Kimberly Mozingo Wolff

Publication number: 20140229121Abstract: A system and a method for determining a degree of fouling formation in a compressor, e.g., in an ethylene production unit or other application. Data associated with the operation of the compressor is collected. Based on the collected data, polytropic efficiency of the compressor is calculated. The estimated polytropic efficiency is normalized to render the estimate more indicative of the degree of fouling.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 27, 2012Publication date: August 14, 2014Applicant: NUOVO PIGNONE S.p.A.Inventors: Giorgio Greco, Hua Xia, Alberto Pieri, Vincenzo Sangiorgio, Patrick Lucas, Lorenzo De Bortoli
