  • Patent number: 11170377
Abstract: A system and method for resolving an acceptance issue on a payment network are provided. The method includes receiving a notification message of an acceptance issue. The acceptance issue relates to an attempt by a cardholder to complete a transaction using a payment card over the payment network that is rejected. The method also includes classifying, by a computer device, the acceptance issue based on at least one of the notification message and results data of a first investigation, determining a remediation of the acceptance issue based on the classification and/or results data of a second investigation, and tracking, by the computer device, the acceptance issue, the classification, and the remediation using a single database. The method further includes implementing the determined remediation, and determining, by the computer device, at least one of a financial impact and a customer quality impact of the acceptance issue.

  • Patent number: 5690531
Abstract: A lamp including an elongate tube with a septum extending longitudinally therethrough to near the distal end of the tube. A pair of assembled leads and electrodes are positioned in the tube through the terminal end and the tube sealed. With an end cap on the distal end of the tube, an elongate cavity is formed extending along either side of the septum and joined at the distal end. A bend is made in the tube such that the ends of the electrodes extend into areas within the elongate cavity between the bend and the distal end of the tube.
