    Abstract: This invention relates to a process of preparing a dye-receiving element for thermal dye transfer comprising:a) applying to a support on the front side thereof a dye image-receiving layer;b) laminating to the back side of the support a polyolefin layer; andc) subjecting the polyolefin layer to a corona discharge treatment and not applying any subsequent layers thereover.
