  • Publication number: 20240042866
Abstract: There is proposed a boom apparatus or boom head assembly being attachable to an electric or hybrid vehicle. The boom apparatus, comprising first and second poles being alignable with the respective wires of an overhead power line system, and respective boom head assemblies coupled to the first and second poles, including a collector configured to abut the first wire. The boom head assemblies each including a respective movable guide, comprising opposing wings that are positioned on either side of a respective collector, being configured to aid in the alignment of the collector with a respective wire. The connecting pole assembly, together with the connecting pole stowage mechanism applies equally to a single wire catenary and connecting pole application as would be the case of a conventional tram.

  • Patent number: 11847392
Abstract: An approach is disclosed herein for dynamic design switching for high performance mixed signal simulation. Disclosed herein is a new approach to simulation processes that allows for different segments of a design to be swapped out without requiring re-elaboration. This is an improvement over current techniques and decreases the amount of time need to simulate a design. In some embodiments, the technique illustrated herein is combined with an automated triggering mechanism that controls the selection of alternate representations for the same element base on those triggers. In some embodiments a new multiplexor structure is provided that is specifically tailored to solving the present issue.

  • Patent number: 11347913
Abstract: A method of reconstructing an emulated circuit layout for graphical display includes receiving a pre-layout circuit including one or more devices and one or more nodes. The method includes generating a Detailed Standard Parasitic Format (DPSF) netlist representing a post-layout circuit. The DPSF netlist includes a plurality of instances representing the one or more devices, the one or more nodes, and one or more parasitic elements not included in the pre-layout circuit. The method includes identifying at least one node of the one or more nodes that is associated with the one or more parasitic elements. The method includes updating the DPSF netlist to associate the one or more parasitic elements with the at least one node. The method includes constructing graphical representation of the post-layout circuit based on the updated DPSF netlist. The method includes causing a display device to display the graphical representation.

  • Publication number: 20160238238
Abstract: A combustion chamber (10) for burning solid fuels having a high volatiles content has a hollow body (11) with a cylindrical wall section (12) and a top section (13) located at end (14) of the cylindrical wall section (12). The hollow body (11) has a primary air inlet (20), a fuel inlet (23) and four volatiles outlets (25) (one shown), mounted therein. Each volatiles outlet (25) has a plurality of apertures (26) of differing sizes arranged in a plate (27). In use, the burning volatiles exit the apertures (26) in a turbulent flow resulting in efficient combustion of the volatiles. Additionally, a heat transferring surface (33) on a water jacket (32) is shaped around the combustion chamber (10) so as to define a channel (34) there between. This arrangement results in an efficient transfer of heat from the turbulent flow of volatiles, which is forced to circulate around the channel (34).

  • Patent number: 7788126
Abstract: A system for enabling real-time collaboration and workflow management of a marketing campaign within a marketing organization is disclosed. In one aspect, user displays for the marketing organization's computer system are provided. A role portal component provides at least two respective role portals that correspond to at least two marketing roles within the marketing organization (for example, marketing executive, marketing manager, data analyst, etc.). A workbench component generates, on a user display, a workbench that corresponds to each of the role portals. Each workbench permits a user to access metric and workflow information associated with the corresponding marketing role. The workbench for each role may comprise several displayable web-pages, such as a home page, an activities page workflow, a marketing campaigns with information and metrics about various marketing campaigns, and a customer analysis page.
