Abstract: A filter system for fluids having an elongate filter basket mounted in tension in a filter housing, the filter element being retained therein by a boltless flange engaging the top thereof and an elongate tube engaging the element bottom and urging it downwardly in response to a single nut engaging a rod through the tube and element and fixed to the housing. A novel filter element for the system is disclosed having longitudinal support rods for containing and supporting a fragile filter medium, such as sintered metal, in any size filter element. In another embodiment, a novel filter element for indepth filtering is disclosed.

Abstract: An improved filter bucket for a flight conveyor having two sides and a bottom with an integral rake edge. Numerous equally spaced apart arcuately curved wires are fixed to and supported by longitudinally extended cross bars in a grid fashion to form the generally concave bucket bottom interior surface. The wires extend beyond the cross bar at the leading edge of the bucket to form a rake edge for engaging and retaining material conveyed. Perforated sides with numerous holes formed therethrough of diameter equal to the bottom grid spacing wires provide for a uniform filtering action filtering action through the bottom and sides of the bucket.

Abstract: Valve, wherein a hollow semisphere element serves as the closure or valve element. The semisphere has a circular opening through one of its quadrants, which is aligned with a passage leading to the valve chamber to open the valve, the other quadrant of the semisphere being positioned over the passage to close the valve.
