    Abstract: The present invention is a fibrin sealant and a method for producing a fibrin sealant from fish blood. Whole blood is drawn from the donor fish and centifuged to separate blood cells from plasma. Prothrombin and fibrinogen are extracted from this plasma, and the prothrombin is activated to thrombin. The fibrinogen and thrombin components are then combined as needed to form the fibrin sealant.
