  • Publication number: 20240065963
Abstract: The instant disclosure generally relates to a multicomponent composition for coating mammalian or synthetic keratin material and textiles, the composition comprising a first and second components and a third component. The first and second components comprise first and second compounds respectively. Any one or more of the first, second and third components may also comprise pigment microparticles. The first, second and third compounds meld together on keratin material and textiles and especially on hair to form a coating that can be formulated to provide temporary coverage or provide permanent coverage. The multicomponent composition formed and set in situ as a solid linked coating ranges from ready removability to substantially permanent lastingness.

  • Patent number: 6813955
Abstract: There is provided a tensioning device that includes an inflatable pressure vessel, a bellows arrangement, and a valve. The pressure vessel has two superimposed major wall components fabricated from sheet metal and further has an aperture which passes through the two superimposed major wall components. The aperture has an axial direction. The bellows arrangement is connected to and located between the two superimposed major wall components at and around the aperture. The valve is for filling the pressure vessel with liquid under pressure to cause the pressure vessel to be inflated in the axial direction of the aperture.

  • Patent number: 5785419
Abstract: In a first aspect, a lightweight building material for use in above grade construction comprising cement, fly ash, cellulose fiber, and water. In cured form, the material has the appearance and strength of standard concrete, but is lighter in weight and has preferable thermal properties. The material is capable of being sanded, chiseled, drilled, sawed, nailed and bolted in a manner similar to like operations with wood. In a second, separate aspect, the lightweight building material is manufactured into a lightweight aggregate material suitable for use in the construction of pre-cast objects, such as, for example, construction blocks. In a third, separate aspect, a method of manufacturing a lightweight aggregate material includes the steps of providing a lightweight building material in wet pulp form, adding one part of wet pulp to three or more parts of dry aggregate, and mixing the wet pulp and dry aggregate in a mixing screw conveyor.
