Abstract: In one embodiment, a scheme is disclosed for supporting wireless access network service request capability in a user equipment (UE) device that is operable in wide area cellular network (WACN) bands as well as in wireless access network bands (e.g., GAN bands and/or UMA bands). The UE device includes capability for gaining Internet Protocol (IP) connectivity with a wireless access network node (e.g., a GAN controller (GANC) or UMA network controller (UNC)). Thereafter, the UE device is operable to initiate a registration request message towards the wireless access network node, wherein the registration request message includes at least one information element pertaining to wireless access network services required by the UE device.

Abstract: A system and method for loading items onto a vehicle. The system allows a support to be easily lowered from, for example, the roof of a vehicle towards the ground. The items to be loaded are secured in the supports at a much lower height than the roof of the vehicle to reduce the possibility of injury and eliminate the need of an additional person for loading and unloading objects onto the roof of a vehicle. Once the item is loaded onto the supports, the system can raise the item onto the roof and secure it in a safe position for transportation.

A gas is sealed within the container and the container has at least one releasably sealed opening that is adapted to vent gas from the package during heating. The susceptor is disposed adjacent the food product to shield at least a portion of the food product against microwave heating, whilst simultaneously heating the shielded portion by infrared radiation.
