Publication number: 20170163660Abstract: Methods and systems for providing forensic visibility into systems and networks are provided. More particularly, a sensor agent may receive events defining an action of a first object acting on a target. The object, the event, and the target are then correlated to at least one originating object such that an audit trail for each individual event is created. A global perspective indicating an age, popularity, a determination as to whether the object may be malware, and IP/URL information associated with the event may then be applied to at least one of the object, the event, the target, and the originating object. A priority may then be determined and assigned to the event based on at least the global perspective. An event line containing event information is then transmitted to an end recipient where the information may be heuristically displayed.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 20, 2017Publication date: June 8, 2017Applicant: WEBROOT INC.Inventors: Joseph Jaroch, Jacques Etienne Erasmus, Paul Barnes, Johannes Mayr, Michael Leidesdorff, Marco Giuliani, Christopher Jon Williams, Chad Edward Bacher

Patent number: 8612893Abstract: When a user interface cursor hovers over a user interface item, a determination is made as to whether the user interface item has an associated screentip. If the user interface item has an associated screentip, text associated with the screentip is identified, a translated text string is located for the text string, and the translated text string is displayed in the screentip. If the user interface item does not have an associated screentip, a determination is made as to whether the user interface item contains a text string. If so, a determination is made as to whether a translated text string is available that corresponds to the text in the user interface item. If so, the translated text string is displayed in a screentip for the user interface item.Type: GrantFiled: November 12, 2012Date of Patent: December 17, 2013Assignee: Microsoft CorporationInventors: Colin Fitzpatrick, John Patrick Whelan, Robert Patrick Doyle, John Gerard Lane, Barry McHugh, Terry Farrell, Paul Barnes, Andre Michael McQuaid, David Mowatt

Publication number: 20070129255Abstract: Nanometer-sized non-superconducting particulates in superconductive REBCO films, where RE is a rare earth metal, for flux pinning enhancement and a method of forming are disclosed. A target with a second phase material sector portion and a superconductive material portion is used in a pulse laser deposition process to form films on substrates according to the present invention. The films consist of 10-20 nm-sized precipitates. In a 0.5 ?m thick film, a transport critical current density (Jc)>3 MA/cm2 at 77K in self-field was measured. In one embodiment, magnetization Jc at 77 K and 65K showed significant improvements in a composite YBCO films with fine precipitates produced according to the present invention as compared to non-doped (standard) YBCO films (>10 times increase at 9 T, 65 K).Type: ApplicationFiled: December 1, 2006Publication date: June 7, 2007Applicant: University of DaytonInventors: Chakrapani Varanasi, Paul Barnes
