  • Patent number: 11178025
Abstract: Aspects of the present invention disclose a method for automated incident prioritization in network monitoring systems. The method includes one or more processors determining historical sentiment impact scores for one or more incident parameters based at least in part on textual content of customer feedback and changes of a customer sentiment during a time period corresponding to one or more system incidents of the time period. The method further includes assigning a classification to the one or more system incidents, wherein the classification corresponds to the one or more incident parameters. The method further includes determining an active incident sentiment impact score for each of one or more active incidents. The method further includes applying the active incident sentiment impact scores as a factor to prioritize incident handling of the one or more active incidents.

  • Publication number: 20180005245
Abstract: A method, system, and computer usable program product to determine a first mood of the user, where the first mood is based on a characteristic of the user at a first time during the providing of an online service and to determine a second mood of the user, where the second mood is based on a characteristic of the user at a second time during the providing of the online service. The first mood of the user and the second mood of the user are compared to determine a delta or change in mood of the user.

  • Patent number: 9270539
Abstract: Provided are a computer program product, system, and method for provisioning resources of a computing environment using predictive time analysis. In certain computing environments, such as a highly utilized cloud computing environment, a predictive provisioning analysis engine can determine how long a resource provisioning request can take to complete. By learning from a window of previously completed provisioning requests that is kept current, the predictive provisioning analysis engine can accurately predict when the resource provisioning request can complete.

  • Patent number: 9270798
Abstract: Alerting a calling party in a Voice over IP (VoIP) setting that a called party might not be able to hear ring tones. In response to a call arriving on an IP connection, the audible level of ring-tones that are generated by a microphone associated with a VoIP computer application is sampled, and responsive to the audible level of ring-tones being below a minimum threshold, a message is transmitting to the calling party via any available connection that the called party might be unable to hear the ring-tones.

  • Patent number: 8412493
Abstract: A method of generating a multi-dimensional model comprises receiving data defining multiple resource types, receiving metadata defining a hierarchical organization for one or more resource types, a hierarchical resource type for a respective resource type defining multiple levels of aggregation, and composite resource types for one or more groups of resource types, a composite resource type defining a composition of resource types, and generating the multi-dimensional model from the received data and received metadata, the generating comprising creating a multi-dimensional function for each resource type and for each composite resource type.

  • Patent number: 8400957
Abstract: A network of nodes and connections is provided, each connection connecting two nodes. A method of operating a first node in the network includes detecting a change in a node connected to the first node, identifying that the number of nodes connected to the first node with the detected change is above a predetermined threshold, and executing the detected change at the first node and/or propagating the detected change to one or more nodes connected to the first node that do not have the detected change.
