  • Publication number: 20240102053
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for producing genetically engineered cells in vitro. The method includes direct injection of a genome editing composition into a cell nucleus of a cell. The genome editing composition includes at least one Cas protein and at least one gRNA molecule to target a distinct genomic location. The injection is performed with a microelectromechanical systems injection chip including a cantilever. The cantilever includes a microchannel being in fluid communication with a nanosyringe, and wherein direct injection includes providing a fluid communication between the microchannel and the nucleus of the cell by insertion of the nanosyringe into the nucleus of the cell and injecting the genome editing composition via the microchannel through the nanosyringe into the nucleus of the cell.

  • Publication number: 20140003255
Abstract: A method and apparatus for identifying logical locations of network devices on a Local Area Network (LAN) is provided herein. The method may include receiving an input including a network identifier of a network terminal adaptor on a LAN, determining, using the received network identifier, network devices connected upstream and downstream of the network terminal adapter on the LAN, and collecting device telemetry data associated with each determined network device and the network terminal adaptor, and generating, using the device telemetry data, a data structure including (a) a representation of a logical location of the network terminal adaptor and of each determined network device connected to the LAN, and (b) at least some of the device telemetry data.

  • Publication number: 20130163581
Abstract: A system for establishing Internet protocol based telephony communications between a calling telephony device and a called telephony device includes multiple logical elements that help to setup and carry the telephony communication. Multiple ones of the logical elements create call detail records that contain data about the telephony communication. Information contained in the call detail records is used to determine which call detail records relate to the same telephony communication. Once the call detail records relating to the same telephony communication are identified, a global identification number can be written into each of the call detail records to tie them together, or information drawn from the multiple call detail records can be used to create a single consolidated call detail record.

  • Publication number: 20110046974
Abstract: The invention provides systems and methods for monitoring and/or reporting laboratory data. One or more laboratory facility may communicate with a data management center. Medical laboratory data, which may include renal data, may be provided to the data management center. In some instances, some of the data from a laboratory facility may be compared to a reference value, or a goal to assess the performance of the laboratory facility. Data may be displayed to a user of the system in a report. Financial tools may also be provided to assess costs associated with bundling various laboratory tests.

  • Publication number: 20070174023
Abstract: In a first aspect, a first defect analysis method is provided. The first method includes the steps of (1) while testing a software project, identifying at least one failure caused by an environment of the project; and (2) considering the effect of the project environment on the software project while analyzing the failure. Numerous other aspects are provided.

  • Patent number: 6662183
Abstract: A method, system, and product are described for configuring a computer network. A database is established which includes information about multiple network products. The network products are supplied by multiple different vendors. The computer network is then configured by selecting ones of the network products to implement the computer network. The computer network is thus configured utilizing products available from different vendors. Attributes are established which are used to evaluate network products. Each of the network products are assigned a weighted value for each of the attributes. A selection of network products is made utilizing the attributes and the weighted values assigned to the network products.
