  • Publication number: 20240137204
Abstract: A system is presented that includes secure push-to-talk voice functionality. Using encryption, authentication, user filtering, and integration with new and existing LMR systems, a secure voice platform ensures malicious software, unauthorized access and brute force security attacks will not compromise the voice communications of the system. The VoIP system is engineered to ensure graceful system degradation in the event of maintenance activities, natural disasters and failure modes. The hardened VoIP system offers the functions a LMR trunking system while utilizing broadband connections. Private calls, group calls, Emergency Alarms with covert monitoring capability, scanning and priority scanning may be incorporated into the system. The system includes a VoIP-controller that serves as a trunking controller, manages available VoIP-based conference bridges, and assigns them as needed to the parties involved in each voice call.

  • Publication number: 20240133375
Abstract: A retaining assembly for coupling a fluid end component to a fluid end casing. The retaining assembly includes a pair for clamp members, each of which has a pair of rails that define a wedge-shaped groove therebetween. The groove applying an increasing amount of pre-load force or tension to a flange of the fluid end components and a flange of the fluid end casing to drive them together. The amount of pre-load tension applied can vary and can be determined by the user and amount of tightening of the clamp members.

  • Publication number: 20240122599
Abstract: An assembly for a closure device includes a cap with a distal portion having a recess to receive tissue and a proximal portion fitting over a face of an endoscope. The proximal portion includes fold(s) between a first region and a first end of a second region. The cap expands from a collapsed state in which an angle of the first region relative to a longitudinal axis of the endoscope is at a minimum to an expanded state in which the angle is increased. Based on the angle and reflectivity of the first region, an endoscopic camera on the face is provided an increased field of view in the expanded state relative to the collapsed state. The device captures tissue when the cap is in the expanded state via an actuation mechanism extending through a channel of the endoscope into the distal portion.

  • Publication number: 20240012577
Abstract: Management applications (hosts) implement management operations on a storage system by passing system calls (syscalls) to a management system. In some embodiments, all management traffic is passed from one or more instances of a management application to a management daemon executing in the context of the storage system operating system. The management daemon sorts syscalls received from the management applications and implements the syscalls using one or more array control devices. The array control devices are special target devices configured on external control hosts for sending management commands to the storage system operating system and receiving information from the storage system. In some embodiments, Non-Volatile Memory express (NVMe) devices to be used as array control devices, and enable TCP connections to be used as logical array control devices.

  • Publication number: 20240012698
Abstract: A management daemon sorts syscalls received from the management applications into First In First Out (FIFO) queues and, when there is an available array control device, selects a syscall from one of the FIFO queues, and spawns a thread on the available array control device to service the selected syscall. The management system has a syscall scheduler configured to optimize handling of syscalls, by breaking long running syscalls into discrete operations, implementing a portion of the syscall, and then stopping operation of the syscall while saving the state of the partially executed syscall. The partially executed syscall is placed back into a queue for subsequent operation, thus freeing up the array control devise for use in connection with other syscalls. By optimizing syscall scheduling, and incremental processing of long running syscalls, it is possible to reduce the overall syscall processing time for a set of syscalls.

  • Patent number: 11542067
Abstract: A container has an improved releasable cap, the container including a neck having external threads. The cap includes: a circular top piece for sealing the container; two sidewall sections connected to the top piece each having an internal threaded portion for engaging the neck of the container. Each sidewall section has two circumferential ends each spaced from an adjacent circumferential end of the other sidewall section such that two diametrically opposed expandable gaps are defined between the spaced circumferential ends. Two tabs each span a respective one of the two gaps, the tabs bulging outward from the sidewall section. The tabs are configured to be pressed inward thereby causing the sidewall sections to flex outward to disengage the internal threaded portions thereof from the external threads of the neck of the container permitting the cap to be removed therefrom.

  • Patent number: 11533400
Abstract: In a method for securing access to a service, a device is set in a restricted operation mode that allows addressing only a first server and that is associated with a first identifier relating to a first connectivity gateway. The device accesses the first identifier and a subscription profile that is active during the restricted operation mode. The first server receives from the device a request for enrolling a device user and at least one feature relating to a user identity. The first server verifies whether the user identity feature is valid. If the user identity feature is valid, the first server sends to the device a command for deactivating the restricted operation mode. The device deactivates the restricted operation mode while storing, instead of the first identifier, a second identifier relating to a second connectivity gateway. The second identifier allows accessing a second server that manages the service.

  • Patent number: 11528604
Abstract: The invention concerns a method for transmitting to a physical or virtual element of a telecommunications network, an encrypted subscription identifier stored in a security element, or an encrypted identifier of the security element or an encrypted identifier of a terminal cooperating with the security element. The method includes pre-calculating proactively, at the occurrence of an event, the encrypted identifier using a key and storing it in a file or memory of the security element with a parameter enabling the key to be calculated by the element of the telecommunications network, in order to be able to transmit to the element of the telecommunications network the encrypted identifier and the parameter, without having to compute the encrypted identifier when the terminal is asking for it.

  • Patent number: 11500558
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to dynamically adjusting storage device system configurations. Information from one or more storage devices is collected. Dynamic adjustment of each storage device's system configuration is enabled based on the information. The information can include performance data, telemetry data, system configuration data, component configuration data, change events/commands, and/or alerts. Each storage device's components can be monitored with at least one daemon. Information patterns can be identified. The patterns can be matched to spikes in data traffic and/or storage device performance. The matched patterns and spikes can be correlated with each storage device's performance and errors. Storage device system configuration adjustment options can be determined. Rules for each option can be generated. Dynamic adjustment of each storage device's system configuration based on the generated one or more rules can be enabled.
