  • Publication number: 20240156593
Abstract: Various features and associated advantages are described for diametrically adjustable support structures, adjustable valve structures, removable/replaceable valve structures, and associated systems and methods. Although some examples are directed toward prosthetic valve that is a conduit having a valve structure, or a “valved conduit” (e.g., used to replace a pulmonary valve and a portion of the corresponding pulmonary artery or an aortic valve and the aortic root), and other examples are directed toward prosthetic valves implanted native valve orifices (e.g., to replace an aortic or mitral valve), the features and advantages of the structures associated with those examples are interchangeable regardless of a particular application for which the examples are described.

  • Patent number: 10977920
Abstract: A device for illumination and fire safety in a room includes a housing, one or more light emitting devices, one or more fire safety components, and a controller. The one or more light emitting devices are coupled to the housing and configured to provide ambient lighting for the room during a normal mode of operation. The one or more fire safety components are coupled to the housing and configured to notify occupants of the room of a fire during an alarm mode of operation. The controller is configured to transition from the normal mode of operation into the alarm mode of operation in response to detecting the fire. The device may include facilities for remote self-testing which may include one or more of a light detector, a sound detector, and a smoke emission system. The device may perform the self-test in a test mode.

  • Publication number: 20190094820
Abstract: A building management system includes a plurality of network-connected sensors installed in or around a place comprising at least one space. The building management system also includes a control engine configured to identify a space profile associated with the space. The space profile is one of a plurality of selectable space profiles for the space. At least two of the plurality of space profiles are associated with a different type of space serving a different function. The space profile includes one or more attributes for the space and a corresponding target value for each of the attributes. The control engine is also configured to receive and process data from the sensors to determine an actual value of each of the attributes and control one or more devices that serve the space to drive the actual value of each attributed toward the corresponding target value defined by the space profile.

  • Publication number: 20150062858
Abstract: The present technology relates generally to cable alignment devices and associated systems and methods. Particular embodiments are directed to cable alignment systems for aligning and registering a plurality of cables with an electronic device, such as an electronic mixer. In some embodiments, a cable alignment system includes an electronic device having a plurality of receiving apertures therein. The system can include a plurality of cables configured to electronically communicate with the electronic device. The system can further include a cable alignment device that is configured to receive the plurality of cables. A plurality of projections can extend from the cable alignment device, and individual projections can be sized to fit within the individual receiving apertures. The cable alignment device can retain the cables in a fixed and spaced arrangement to attach all of the cables to the electronic device simultaneously.
