A visual indicator is operative to indicate to a user that keypad inputs are being encrypted. Disinfecting techniques may be used to disinfect manual contact surfaces of the machine.

The user data comprises card data and/or biometric data which correspond to a financial account. The banking system causes funds to be transferred between accounts involved in the transaction. The system allows a bank teller at the teller station to assist a bank customer at a customer station. Information can be communicated between the teller and the customer through touch input to a teller touch screen and a customer touch screen.
