  • Patent number: 5779135
Abstract: A package for a plurality of thin walled, nested and stacked thin walled plastic tub containers and their tops. A paperboard carton is provided with an opening in its bottom panel through which the lower part of the nested stack of tubs extends. In use, the consumer opens two main roof panels, removes the desired number of tubs and tops, then reinserts the remaining nested tubs and tops back into the carton. The consumer then fastens the free ends of the two roof panels together by means of a tongue and slit latching arrangement. The two roof panels are initially held together by adhesive, the adhesive force being broken upon initial opening of the carton roof.

  • Patent number: 5054159
Abstract: A hollow tubular nozzle for attachment to power blowers or "leaf blowers" has a depending rectangular mounting flange extending transversely across its underside, the bottom portion of which is adapted to removably receive and retain a debris and trash loosening attachment member in the form of a brush or scraper blade which forcefully engages the surface to be cleaned to dislodge debris and trash therefrom while preventing damage to the nozzle from contacting the surface. The mounting flange may be integrally formed on the nozzle, or it may be a separate piece having a top portion conforming to the configuration of existing rectangular or round nozzles and adapted to be secured thereto. The mounting flange, brush and scraper attachments may be sold as a do-it-yourself kit to be installed on the existing nozzles. The user may simply install and remove the brush or scraper blade onto the mounting flange when desired.

  • Patent number: 4714191
Abstract: A one piece paperboard carton blank is folded into a rectangular shape for packaging and dispensing from a roll of individual plastic bags, particularly disposable milk bottles for feeding babies. The carton has a double wall front part which includes an inner top rigidly supporting a tab protruding in a direction opposite to the direction of withdrawal of bags from the roll. When a first plastic bag is withdrawn it starts to pull out a succeeding bag to which it is removably attached along a line of perforations. When the center of the perforated edge of the succeeding bag is impaled on the tab, further withdrawal of the succeeding bag is restrained and the first bag is readily separated to facilitate its dispensing and to place the leading edge of the succeeding bag where it may be easily reached for withdrawal.
