    Abstract: The present medical instrument includes but three basic parts, namely an outer cylinder, an inner cylinder, and a cap. These parts are so constructed that the same cap type can close at least one end of the outer cylinder and both ends of the inner cylinder whereby the latter may be operated as a piston inside the outer cylinder. Thus, the instrument is usable as a syringe and/or as a container.
