  • Publication number: 20220119087
Abstract: The trolling motor releasable mounting bracket system is for trolling motors (e.g., GPS guided trolling motors), includes its own power plug within the assembly, and is configured to mount a trolling motor to a vessel deck. The system includes a motor bracket and a vessel bracket. The motor bracket includes a receiving section to slidably receive the vessel bracket therein. The motor bracket further includes a motor power cord section including a motor power cord channel configured to route a motor power cord and secure an associated motor power connector therein. The vessel bracket includes a vessel power cord section including a vessel power cord channel configured to route a vessel power cord and secure an associated vessel power connector therein.

  • Patent number: 4890041
Abstract: A lamp start, hot-restart and operating circuit for a high wattage, high intensity discharge lamp includes cascaded resonant circuits with capacitors and series-connected inductors connected to an AC source. A pulse circuit including two pulse transformers supplies streamer-forming current, the secondary windings of the pulse transformers being connected in series with the lamp. When the lamp commences normal operation, the operating current energizes a relay to remove the capacitors and pulse circuit from the operating circuit, allowing the inductor to function as the lamp ballast.

  • Patent number: 4745363
Abstract: A non-oriented direct coupled sensor for gear teeth or similarly shaped discontinuities of a ferrous magnetic or magnetic target uses a single magnet and a direct coupled Hall cell integrated circuit to detect the presence or absence of gear teeth. The sensor incorporates techniques for flux steering and flux reversals independent of the orientation of the sensor to the target to overcome the operate or release point of a Hall switch, latch or other device. The use of spaced apart, offset flux concentrators provides a sensitive device with favorable tolerances in temperature and air gap.

  • Patent number: 4727270
Abstract: A noise immune circuit for use with pulse type sensors whereby a noise modulated signal is clipped and shaped in a hard limiter to a square wave signal before being filtered by a low pass filter. A Schmitt trigger with substantial feedback then biases the threshold of said hard limiter for discrimination of noise from signal.

  • Patent number: 4491256
Abstract: A drying insert for caps of the kind having stiff visors which wrinkle badly after being laundered and dried includes a rigid visor-shaped section to be pressed against the wet visor of a laundered cap and a crown section having a plurality of spaced arches. The crown section of the drying insert is forced snugly into the crown section of a wet freshly laundered cap, pressing the rigid visor-shaped section against the bottom surface of the wet visor of the cap. Means are provided for holding the visor against the rigid visor-shaped section of the insert, so that the cap retains its original shape as it is dried.

  • Patent number: 4097090
Abstract: A retractable flap system is readily attachable to the dump box of a dump truck which includes a tail gate pivotally coupled to the upper portion of the rear end of the dump box. The retractable flap system includes a flap having first and second ends. An attachment bracket attaches the flap to the outer side of the tail gate. The attachment bracket includes a first end which is pivotably coupled to the outer side of the tail gate and a second end which is coupled to the upper portion of the flap. An air actuated ram is coupled to the outer side of the tail gate and to the attachment bracket in order to rotate the attachment bracket and thereby raise and lower the flap. In the raised position the flap is positioned nearly flush with the outer side of the tail gate and the lower end of the flap is positioned in the vicinity of the lower portion of the tail gate. In the lower position the flap serves its normal function of deflecting rocks and debris thrown from the rear tires of the truck.
