    Abstract: A tool is described as including a pivotable guide member through which a rotatable cutting blade extends. As the cutting tool is advanced over the object to be cut, the guide member pivots in response to contacting the object which allows the object to be compressed under the guide member if desired. The guide member includes rounded first and second ends which accommodate using the cutting tool by either dragging the tool rearwardly or pushing the tool forwardly over the object.
