  • Patent number: 4976600
Abstract: A bread moulder has a feed chute for receiving dough pieces and directing them between counter-rotating sheeting rollers for flattening the dough and delivering it to apparatus for working it between convergent runs of driven endless upper and lower belts. A shutter is hinged in the feed chute and is biased to closed position but is yieldable under impact of a dough pieces thrown onto it to allow the dough piece to pass through the feed chute. A safety gate in the form of a double grille, V-shaped in end view, is hinged to the feed chute and is movable by a handle to cause its leading part to move the shutter into the chute to dislodge any dough lodged therein, its trailing part forming a barrier before the sheeting rollers.

  • Patent number: 4971545
Abstract: A bread moulder has a feed chute for receiving dough pieces and directing them between counter-rotating sheeting rollers for flattening the dough and directing them between convergent runs of driven endless upper and lower belts. At the sides of the feed chute are feed tubes aligned to receive elongated fingers of dough endwise and to direct them gravitationally between the sheeting rollers to be delivered to and wound spirally by the upper and lower belts for the production of shell rolls.

  • Patent number: 4966071
Abstract: A bread molder for working dough between convergent runs of driven endless roller-mounted upper and lower belts has the lower belt carried by an adjustment frame which can be moved to vary the spacing between the two belts. A pair of side shaping arms can be inserted closely between the two belts to limit the lateral expansion of the dough being worked. A delivery plate on the belt adjustment frame extends below the upper belt to receive and deliver a dough piece worked between the two belts, and a series of spaced parallel splitter blades are mounted for simultaneous advance between divisions in the delivery plate for dividing the worked dough into sections.

  • Patent number: 4538050
Abstract: A baker's oven has an insulated casing arranged into two series of cylindrical compartments, coaxially one above the other, and separated by horizontal heat-insulating decks. A loading door is provided for each compartment, together with top and bottom heating elements. A vertical drive shaft passes coaxially through each series of compartments and a rotary support, for products to be baked, is mounted on the shaft in each compartment. In one or more of the compartments, a pair of vertically spaced rotary supports may be provided on the shaft and an intermediate heating element is provided below the upper of the two supports.

  • Patent number: 4367724
Abstract: A baker's oven of the type having an oven compartment with a loading door, and containing heating means and a horizontal support, rotatable about a vertical axis, for articles to be baked, has steaming means for producing steam within the oven compartment, such steaming means including a metal body in the upper part of the oven compartment and heated by the heating means, a passage in the body receiving, from any suitable source, water under pressure which is expelled in finely divided form through nozzles into the compartment, the nozzles being directed away from the doorway and in the direction of rotation of the rotary support.

  • Patent number: 4350873
Abstract: A baker's oven has its casing divided by horizontal decks into a number of superimposed substantially cylindrical compartments, a loading doorway leading into each. A vertical drive shaft through the casing carries, in each compartment, a central substantially cylindrical insulated core from the lower part of which extends an annular rotating support for articles to be baked, each compartment being individually heated electrically. Each or any compartment may have an annular horizontal lid about the core, means being provided for lowering the lid onto bread tins on the support or lifting it clear above the tins.

  • Patent number: 4263977
Abstract: A vehicle, its frame, with a driver's seat, mounted on two rear wheels and a single steerable front wheel, is made to enable a wheel-mounted motor-driven rotary mower to be removably installed with its rear wheels between those of the vehicle, its front wheels behind the vehicle's front wheel. A drive to the vehicle's front wheel is releasably connectible to the drive shaft of the mower's motor, and means are provided for automatically lifting the mower's front wheels above the ground when the vehicle's front wheel is turned to steer to one side or the other, so as to prevent the mower wheels from being dragged sideways across the ground.
