Abstract: A user permission system manages and regulates access to secure data at one or more third-party data sites. The system may provide access to one or more databases or other data structures based on user authentication and access rules that have been established, such as by a user associated with the data being accessed at the third party data store. Access may be provided via an API to the third-party data site, along with access credentials of a user with data stored with the third-party data site, allowing the system to access data on behalf of the user.

Abstract: Additional date term granularity may be added to query results and query interfaces used to append query results. Initially, a partial execution of a query may be triggered to identify fields and field types. Fields may be classified as date fields based on their field type. The query may be appended to compute one or more time periods for each classified date field. Each time period may identify a broader time period than the data included in a corresponding classified date field. A query result, which may include the computed time period(s) and time period field(s), may be generated from the execution of the appended query.

Abstract: Fields in a query result of a query may be classified as numerical, date, or text according to their field type. Depending on the classification of the fields, different fields or functions applied to the fields may added to first dimension, second dimension, and/or filter menus in an interface. A user may make a selection of fields and/or functions from the menus, and additional query terms may be generated and appended to the query. The appended query may then be executed and the results may be displayed in a first and a second dimension of the interface depending on the selections made by the user.
