  • Patent number: 11770113
Abstract: A superconducting circuit comprises a resonator and a Josephson junction. The resonator comprises an inductor and a capacitor. The inductor comprises a first terminal and a second terminal. The second terminal of the inductor is electrically coupled to a first terminal of the capacitor. A second terminal of the capacitor is electrically coupled to a first terminal of the Josephson junction. The terminal shared by the inductor and the capacitor is configured to be electrically coupled to an alternating current (AC) voltage source having a particular frequency and particular phase. The inductance of the inductor and the capacitance of the capacitor are selected to cause the resonator to resonate at a frequency and a phase that substantially match the particular frequency and the particular phase, respectively, of the AC voltage source to facilitate switching a state of the Josephson junction via a single flux quantum (SFQ) pulse.

  • Patent number: 10486556
Abstract: An adjusting device for longitudinal adjustment of a vehicle seat comprises a lower rail 2 and a second rail 1 movably guided relative to the first rail. A first end stop 4 is supported on the second rail 1 or on the first rail 2 at a central position so as to be displaceable in the longitudinal direction, for defining the front end position and/or rear end position of the second rail 1 by cooperation with the first rail 2 or the second rail 1 and edges of a retainer cage 6 used for accommodating bearing members. According to the invention the total travel range of the adjusting device can be extended, because the central end stop can be displaced in longitudinal direction.

  • Patent number: 7497097
Abstract: A spacer-fabric sweatband, for, and incorporated into headwear which has an inner, skin-contact fabric layer, and an outer, headwear-facing fabric layer connected by a multiplicity of hydrophobic monofilament-pile spacing elements. The pile spacing elements function like thousands of miniature springs to maintain the fabric layers in uniform spaced parallel relation while creating substantial, pile-supported airspace between the fabric layers to facilitate the movement of ventilating airflow. The headwear-facing fabric layer is mesh-like for enhanced air circulation. The skin-contact layer is composed of solid skin-friendly fabric. The pile segments block sweat from migrating from the inner to the outer fabric layers by virtue of their hydrophobic composition.

  • Patent number: 3952424
Abstract: A method and apparatus for training the motor movement of a person to make writing more easily learned. The apparatus includes a frame having a pair of horizontal bars. A large, bright colored ball is disposed on one bar and a smaller, bright colored ball is disposed on the other bar. The frame includes means for supporting a looped bar and an undulating bar. Each bar may be disposed in two vertical planes and one horizontal plane. A ball is provided on each of the looped and undulating bars. Each of the balls includes a finger hole and a smaller writing implement-receiving hole therein. The bars, with their associated ball thereon, are disposed in a predetermined sequence of orientations so that the balls thereon can be moved in a predetermined sequence wherein the balls are first moved along horizontal straight bars, then along the undulating bar and finally along the looped bar.
