Publication number: 20070008790Abstract: A laminated panel for use as a display panel has a polystyrene plastic core and a cellulosic surface on each face of the core. The surface layers are impregnated with a resin formulation containing an optical brightener, and optionally a dye, and then pressed onto each face of the core to form the laminate. The finished panel is found to have outstanding brightness, and can be imprinted using a flat bed digital printed to produce signage for a variety of consumer applications.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 29, 2006Publication date: January 11, 2007Inventors: Troy Buechler, Paul Huzyak, Daniel Nelson

Patent number: 4194383Abstract: A modular linear transducer assembly is mounted between relatively displaceable piston and cylinder members of a hydraulic roll gap control arrangement in a four-high rolling mill stand. The piston and cylinder members have coaxial openings centrally therethrough which receive the modular transducer assembly. The transducer assembly includes axially displaceable sleeve and plunger members, one of which is attached to the piston member and the other to the cylinder member for displacement therewith. The plunger supports a low voltage differential transformer coil having an axial passageway therethrough, and the sleeve member supports a core rod which extends into the coil passageway. Relative displacement between the piston and cylinder members imparts corresponding relative displacement between the coil and core rod to produce a signal indicative of roll gap change.Type: GrantFiled: June 22, 1978Date of Patent: March 25, 1980Assignee: Gulf & Western Manufacturing CompanyInventor: Paul Huzyak

Patent number: 4059251Abstract: An agitator assembly for use with a melting furnace such as used for preparing metal to mold bullets has a motor mount slidably disposed on a support arrangement for movement toward and away from the furnace. Rotated by a motor mounted on the motor mount is an agitator element selectively inserted into and removed from the furnace by appropriate movement of the motor mount. A cover plate also is movably mounted on the support arrangement for placement over the access opening of the furnace to prevent splash from the furnace whenever the agitator element is operating within the furnace.Type: GrantFiled: November 4, 1976Date of Patent: November 22, 1977Inventor: Paul Huzyak
