  • Patent number: 11958246
Abstract: An apparatus includes a transparent chamber having a space therein for containing an object while heating under vacuum, at least one directed energy source configured to direct energy to heat the object positioned within the space of the transparent chamber, a cap on the transparent chamber, and a connection between the transparent chamber and at least one vacuum for creating a vacuum within the transparent chamber. The apparatus may further include at least one temperature sensor to measure temperature of the object. The apparatus may further include a control system, the control system operatively connected to the at least one temperature sensor and the at least one directed energy source and wherein the control system is a closed loop system to adjust laser power to provide more or less energy to heat or maintain the temperature of the object.

  • Publication number: 20220238401
Abstract: A method may include forming a cavity within a plastic structure with a channel positioned at a perimeter of the cavity, inserting the electronic component into the cavity, dispensing a dielectric fluid into the channel at the perimeter of the cavity, curing the dielectric fluid in situ to secure the electronic component within the cavity with a cured dielectric and printing interconnects for the electronic component.

  • Publication number: 20220177822
Abstract: A bioreactor system having an expanding volume is provided. The system includes a bioreactor assembly comprising a plurality of bioreactors including at least a first bioreactor and a second bioreactor proximate the first bioreactor. The bioreactor system further includes a first gate between the first bioreactor and the second bioreactor such in a first configuration the gate is closed and the first bioreactor is isolated from the second bioreactor and in a second configuration the gate is open and the first bioreactor is contiguous with the second bioreactor and media and cells form a homogenous mixture within a combined volume formed by the first bioreactor in combination with the second bioreactor. The bioreactor system may further include a microdispenser for each of the plurality of bioreactors for controlling dispensement of media into each of the plurality of bioreactors.

  • Patent number: 10966312
Abstract: An apparatus includes a substrate and an electronic circuit comprising a plurality of conductive tracts forming a printed litz line on the substrate for distributing a signal therebetween in order to increase effective conductance relative to a single conductive line not divided into tracts. The plurality of conductive tracts may be formed by printing a pattern on the substrate and removing portions of the pattern to leave the plurality of conductive tracts. The removing portions of the pattern may be performed by a removal process such as laser cutting, milling, etching, or masking. For example, the removal may be performed by applying ultrashort laser pulses. The printing may be performed by a jetting process, a spray process, an extrusion process, a dispensing process, and/or other types of processes for applying materials.
