Patent number: 11366960Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for receiving and processing data analysis expressions. A particular method includes receiving a data analysis expression at a pivot table of a spreadsheet. The data analysis expression is executed for a particular cell of the pivot table by determining a context associated with the particular cell, calculating a value of the data analysis expression based on the context, and outputting the calculated value at the particular cell.Type: GrantFiled: August 3, 2020Date of Patent: June 21, 2022Assignee: MICROSOFT TECHNOLOGY LICENSING, LLCInventors: Howard J. Dickerman, Marius Dumitru, Akshai Mirchandani, Yutong (Jeffrey) Wang, Amir Netz, Paul J. Sanders

Publication number: 20220015749Abstract: Delivery devices, delivery systems, and related methods, for precise administration of hemostatic compositions are disclosed, which may include a trigger mechanism, a pusher, a valve, and a cannula. The pusher is configured to engage with the trigger mechanism, retain a first syringe, a least by coupling with a plunger of the first syringe. The valve is fluidly coupled to the first syringe. The valve is further configured to engage with a second syringe, in fluid communication with both the valve and the first syringe. The cannula extends distally from and is fluidly coupled to the valve. Activation of the trigger mechanism causes the pusher and the plunger of the first syringe to translate in a distal direction, to expel a composition out of the first syringe, through the valve, through the cannula, and out of a distal end of the cannula.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 7, 2018Publication date: January 20, 2022Inventors: Paul J. Patent number: 8185817Abstract: Various technologies and techniques are disclosed for utilizing spreadsheet references with grouped aggregate views. A grouped aggregate view feature enables a user to create a grouped aggregate view of data. A calculation feature enables the user to calculations for the grouped aggregate view of data that are based upon relative or absolute references to data in the grouped aggregate view. Input is received from a user to write a calculation within a first cell in a grouped aggregate view. Input is received from the user to select a second cell to reference when writing the calculation. The user is presented with available references that are relevant to data contained in the second cell. Input is received from the user to select one of the available references that are relevant for the second cell. The selected one of the available references is placed into the first cell.Type: GrantFiled: June 18, 2008Date of Patent: May 22, 2012Assignee: Microsoft CorporationInventors: Robert C.
