Abstract: Display surface tracking techniques are described in which a one or more modules may perform enhanced rendering techniques to output graphics based on tracking of a display device. In an embodiment, one or more tracking sensors may be used to track position of a display relative to a viewer. In at least some embodiments, the tracking sensors include a camera of the device that is used to monitor a position of the viewer relative to the display. Based on tracking performed via the one or more tracking sensors, projection planes used to render graphics on the display may be calculated and a graphics presentation may be output in accordance with the calculated projection planes.

Abstract: The present invention provides a stocks channel and a news channel to a user on a mobile device. Stocks based content associated with a stocks channel and news content associated with the news channel is automatically delivered and stored on a mobile electronic device for access by a user. Using the device, users can quickly access the stock and news information without having to type in information, or specifically request the information to be downloaded to the device. The stock channel and the news channel provides a quicker and less cumbersome way of accessing stock and news information than having to access a web site, a television, a radio station, or a telephone service.

Abstract: The present invention provides a sports channel that includes sports content to a user on a mobile device. Sports content associated with the sports channel is automatically delivered and stored on a mobile electronic device for access by a user. Using the device, users can quickly access the sports information they are interested in without having to type in information to specifically download the content to the device. The sports channel is directed at providing a quicker and less cumbersome way of accessing sports information as compared to having to access a web site or a telephone service. Several different modes for categorically displaying different types of sports information is provided. Some example modes include: a games mode; a standings mode; and a news mode.
