  • Patent number: 10731810
Abstract: A flame simulating assembly is provided with a reflected flickering light that includes only one light source. Light from the light source passes through a rotating flicker element onto an angled reflector, or mirror, that reflects light up onto a simulated fuel bed and the some of the light is reflected off of the flicker elements towards a flame screen to create a simulated flame. The clipping flicker elements creates a fluttering light effect due to the flicker elements “intermittently dipping” into the light path. This fluctuating light is reflected onto the logs and ember bed in front and creates a dancing effect, which simulates glowing embers.

  • Patent number: 10688945
Abstract: A substrate is mounted to a vehicle seat frame, to provide a support surface for an occupant. The seat substrate is formed with a pair of guides to receive a pair of suspension wires of a vehicle seat suspension for translation of the pair of suspension wires within the pair of guides and to distribute an occupant load from the pair of suspension wires to the substrate. An air bladder is fastened to a plurality of retainers on the substrate. A first plurality of terminals is mounted to the substrate for electrical connection to a wire harness. A second plurality of terminals is mounted to the substrate, each in electrical communication with one of the first plurality of terminals, for electrical connection to a plurality of electrical devices in the vehicle seat assembly.

  • Patent number: 10584841
Abstract: A flame simulating assembly for providing a moving effect of flames. The assembly includes a light source; a flicker element disposed in the path of the light source configured and arranged to reflect light from the light source; and an imaging wall. The imaging wall is disposed above the light source and includes a front facet and at least one additional facet. The front facet has an upper portion disposed forward of a lower portion thereof and the at least one additional facet extending rearward from the front facet. Light from the flicker element is occluded by the front facet to provide a more realistic fire shape. The fire shape appears wider at the base than at the top.

  • Publication number: 20200069079
Abstract: A dry fog diffuser assembly for use in a refrigerated space comprises a base having an adapter for connection to a high-pressure water supply in a range of 600 to 1,000 psi. The nozzle has an orifice in the range of 0.003-0.012 inches to produce a fine water vapor. A riser operatively connects the nozzle to the adapter to space the nozzle from the base. A housing is mounted to the base and encloses the nozzle. The housing defines an open space below the nozzle providing an air inlet to the interior of the housing. A diffuser comprises a stainless-steel elbow having an inlet end and an outlet end. The inlet end is mounted to the housing. An inner surface of the diffuser has a roughness of at least Ra25, where water vapor from the nozzle is diffused in the elbow and the diffuser produces a dry fog exiting at the outlet end.

  • Publication number: 20200043096
Abstract: A trading platform for trading financial instruments, and in particular for generating pre-trade prices. In an exemplary embodiment, the trading platform includes computer software modules and provides graphical user interfaces to accept dealer bids and offers, aggregate the dealer positions, generate a pre-trade price, permit dealers to opt-in to a matching process (the sweep), and determine matches by comparing the positions and potential opposing positions. The trading systems and methods may generate a yield curve from the dealer bids and offers which may be used for the valuation of positions and collateral. The trading platform is also capable of matching orders and sending orders to be executed.

  • Patent number: 10545491
Abstract: The disclosure provides systems and methods of use in the analysis, collection, resource allocation, and tracking associated with the sale of commodities. Embodiments include a vibratory-and-optical analysis and collection system that may be incorporated into a collection and storage machine. The analysis and collection system and/or the collection and storage machine may be associated with a consumption-based resource-allocation system that determines a payment price for a batch of commodity sold and then digitally allocates all transaction resources to the relevant stakeholders to the commodity sales transaction occurring at the analysis and collection system and/or the collection and storage machine. A commodity-to-consumer tracking system may be provided to track the batch of commodity sold from the point of harvest and sale through to the end consumer. Other embodiments are disclosed.
