  • Publication number: 20070223982
Abstract: A hand held printing device is disclosed that tracks its motion and prints an image based on its sensed position. The printing device includes a controller, a position sensor, a housing, a display, and a user interface. The display is pivotable between an open position, in which it uncovers the user interface, and a closed position in which the user interface is covered. The printing device further comprises a recessed bottom surface to prevent smearing of ink and an alignment mechanism that allows a user to precisely align a printed image. The alignment mechanism includes a reference indicator located on the housing in close proximity to a target surface and a correlating reference indicator located on the display.

  • Publication number: 20050098267
Abstract: A removable cartridge assembly for a master processing apparatus includes a cartridge body and a pair of feed roll assemblies. Each feed roll assembly includes a stock material wound about a core and mounting members on the ends of the core. Feed roll mounting structures removably secure the feed roll assemblies on the cartridge body so that, for example, a feed roll assembly from which the supply of stock material has been exhausted can be removed and replaced.

  • Patent number: 6539997
Abstract: The present invention provides an adhesive transfer device comprising a frame and first and second cooperating structures each having a substrate engaging surface, the first cooperating structure being a nip roller rotatably mounted to the frame. The selected substrate and the adhesive carrying substrate can be advanced between the cooperating structures with the substrate engaging surfaces thereof cooperating to apply pressure to the substrates. This causes the first portion of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer to adhere to the selected substrate and the second portion of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer to adhere to a pick-up portion of the substrate engaging surface of the nip roller.

  • Publication number: 20020134213
Abstract: A substrate cutting system for performing a substrate cutting operation wherein a substrate portion is cut from a selected substrate comprises a cutter guide and a substrate cutter. The cutter and the cutter guide enable the substrate cutting operation to be performed by engaging a substrate engaging surface of the cutter guide with the selected substrate, penetrating the selected substrate with a blade of the cutter, and then moving the cutter with guidable and guiding surfaces of the cutter and cutter guide, respectively, engaged with one another such that the guiding and guidable surfaces cooperate to guide the cutter so that the cutting edge of the blade cuts the selected substrate along a cutting path generally similar to the guiding surface to cut the substrate portion from the selected substrate and provide the substrate portion with a peripheral geometric shape determined by the cutting path.
