  • Patent number: 10200468
Abstract: An active agenda tool is provided that may be executed at one or more networked computing devices. Each connected active agenda tool includes functionality for displaying an agenda interface and for maintaining agenda item timers. The agenda interface includes an agenda and various interactive controls. The agenda includes a plurality of editable agenda items, each having a corresponding agenda item timer maintained by the agenda tool for recording time dedicated to that agenda item during the meeting. Collateral content, which may be shared among the network computing devices, can be associated with one or more of the agenda items. Agenda data representing the displayed agenda items is changed each time a displayed agenda item is modified during the meeting. Any changes to the agenda data may be distributed to each of the networked computing devices, so that each connected agenda tool can update its agenda during the meeting.

  • Patent number: 6225580
Abstract: A rotary switch is contained inside a knob. The switch operates on a surface of an electrical device. The switch has a rotating housing, an axle, an axle bearing, switch contacts, and a knob, in which the knob is the housing, and the knob, axle, axle bearing, and switch contacts are all located external to the surface of the electrical device, and are all contained within a space defined by a surface of the knob.

  • Patent number: 6014850
Abstract: A molded one-piece flexible plastic strip handle includes a first wall at one end of the strip that extends from the mid-portion of the strip, a second wall attached by one end to the first wall forming a U with the first wall having its apex below the plane of the mid-portion, and a tongue that extends from the apex toward the second end of the strip and makes an acute angle with the first wall. An opening in the first wall is configured to receive the tongue when it is bent toward the opening by inserting the second wall and first wall in a predetermined opening in a container wall.

  • Patent number: 5862715
Abstract: A self-contained knob contains a bushing which fits on a control shaft of a control element and extends axially through each of an annular disk and a pedestal. The annular disk slidingly rests upon the pedestal. The disk and pedestal contain between them a pair of concentric, radially separated tracks of spring loaded balls and cavities. The balls momentarily engage the cavities in arc movement as the knob is turned. The pedestal receives at the bottom and is prevented from rotating by a fastener of the control element.

  • Patent number: 5765449
Abstract: A pair of coiled springs are mounted in tandem in a housing with their adjacent ends extending radially for retention in a housing permitting slight radial movement of the adjacent ends. The outer ends of the springs extend radially and are axially and circumferentially spaced apart and retained in the housing for slight circumferential movement. The outer ends of the spring are moved by tensioning them in opposite directions to increase the inner diameter of the annulus formed by the springs to receive a shaft upon which the springs tighten when the spring ends are released from tension.

  • Patent number: 5732921
Abstract: A serrated thrust element inserted between serrated portions of handles of a clip, forces the jaws of the clip closed by a single unidirectional movement toward the pivot of the clip between the handles and the jaws. The clip may be hung by the thrust element without affecting the jaw spacing.

  • Patent number: 4805322
Abstract: A blade assembly is adapted to be connected to the conventional three-point hitch of a farm tractor. A generally horizontal boom pivotally carries at its rear end a blade bucket which is swingable by means of a pair of double-action hydraulic jacks pivoted to the blade and to the boom. The front end of the boom is adapted to be pivotally connected to the pair of laterally-spaced hitch lever arms of the tractor hitch system. A spacer frame upstands from and is pivotally connected to the front ends of the boom. A central lever arm is pivotally connected intermediate its ends to the upper portion of the spacer frame. A central link pivotally interconnects the front end of said central lever arm with the front portion of the boom. A double-acting hydraulic jack interconnects the boom with the pivotal connection between the central lever arm and the link.
